About this house rental
The bach is a typical very rustic kiwi family bach set back on a hill with clear views across the harbour to Mangonui. This bach is definitely not the silver service of bach s but has what is required to have fun and enjoy the sunny north.
It is very private and away from the mading crowds but a short drive to the beachs and in the evenings fantastic views across the harbour.
Has a detached area from the main building for the sleeping accommodation with kitchen and dinning area. There is one tiled toilet and shower off the kitchen.
Has pool table and clear open plan living area to lounge away those hot days when you need a break from the sun. There is a large tower/balcony with stair access to enjoy those evening meals watching the harbour.
Has large open space for games and plenty room to park vehicles or boats also has flat area for tents. We have camped more people in tents but we would need to discuss this if required.
The bach is on tank water and has filter for drinking,10 minutes to Mangonui Village and Whangaroa Golf Course.

The bach is a really lovely spot for a holiday and we would definitely recommend it for anyone wanting a break and some relaxation. The host was wonderful – very kind, understanding, and easy to communicate with. For our colleagues who were in the area for work, it wasn’t quite ideal as they mainly needed somewhere in town to return, eat, rest, and start again the next day. But for a relaxing getaway, this place is perfect. Definitely recommend.

My Partner and I had such a great stay here that this was our second time this summer. The property is beautiful and remote. Everything is there for us to have a Northland adventure with our dogs. Thanks for hosting us Greg! We had a great stay!

My partner and i had a great stay at Gregs property. The cabins had everything we needed to enjoy all the wonderful things northland has to offer. We loved how quiet and peaceful the property felt. Our dogs also enjoyed having so much space to run around. Greg was easy to communicate with and very accomadating. Thanks for having us!

It is a great trouble-free place with plenty of room for a family of four. Having the bedrooms detached from the living, kitchen, bathroom was okay for us as we had good weather. Great place for it's price.
