About this house rental
The house is located in a quiet place in the hills of Pescia, in Castelvecchio, a typical medieval village. there are excellent restaurants where you can taste the typical Tuscan cuisine
Castelvecchio is a quiet place and if you want to spend a few days in full relaxation it is the one for you.
strategic position, in fact it is a few km from both Florence, Pisa, Lucca and Versilia.
a few km you can find all the necessary services from the supermarkets, to the railway station.
You can visit the village of Collodi, the city where Carlo Lorenzini wrote the famous novel for children Pinocchio, you can visit the theme park suitable especially for children and teenagers.
Not far away you can visit Vinci city where the famous Leonardo da Vinci was born, where you can visit the museum and its house.
A few kilometers you can reach Abetone in the high mountains where you can use cable cars to visit the mountain peaks and its panoramas.
The accommodation
access is via stairs
it is fully furnished, has two bathrooms, a double bedroom, a boys bedroom with two single beds, complete with linens, kitchen accessories, microwave, hairdryer, washing machine. Large living room connected to the kitchen, a terrace covered by a veranda from where we can enjoy a beautiful landscape, complete with barbecue. on the upper floor there is a splendid attic where you can relax in peace.
On request we provide cot for small children
Before arriving, we recommend stopping at Pescia in the Supermarket for your shopping.
From 1 October and for all the winter months, heating will have a consumption cost to be paid locally.

I was familiar with Castelvecchio from an earlier visit, but I was greatly surprised to find this jewel. The apartment is large, very well furnished and decorated, and has a small patio with open views of other mountain villages in the Svizzera Pesciatina. The apartment was very clean. The hosts provided a platter of starter items for the visit in case we forgot to bring groceries from Pescia. We will definitely return to this apartment again if it is available.

Fijne woning met alles erop en eraan wat je nodig hebt. Goed bed, goede badkamer. Rustige omgeving. Prachtig uitzicht vanaf een ruim balkon. Vriendelijke eigenaar. Nadeel is dat er in het dorp geen enkel winkeltje is, en je je boodschappen 9 km verderop moet doen over een weg die erg smal en onoverzichtelijk is, en door vrachtverkeer soms ronduit gevaarlijk.
Wel 2 goede restaurants in het dorp.

Nous avons vraiment adoré notre séjour.
La maison a beaucoup de charme et on s'y sent tout de suite bien. Elle est bien équipée et d'une propreté impeccable. Le cadre est impressionnant, nous avons passé beaucoup de temps sur la terrasse à admirer la vue. L'endroit est très calme tout en étant à moins de 2 heures de route de toutes les villes que nous avons visitées.
Et surtout nous avons beaucoup apprécié la disponibilité de notre hôte et la gentillesse de toute sa famille. Malgré l'obstacle de la langue nous avons passé des moments très agréables
