Villa Benedetta is located in Garfagnana, a geographic region of Tuscany very ancient and rich in traditions. It was erected in 1636 and hosted the Este nobles, in particular the Duke of Modena Francesco IV D Este who stayed there to hunt. The apartments have been created inside the very suggestive villa whose loggia, paved in stone, immediately transports the visitor into an ancient atmosphere. The location of the building dominates the valley. Exposed to the south / east, it enjoys sunlight for most of the day. The front garden, and the splendid swimming pool with sun loungers and deck chairs, allow you to rest in full relaxation. While, the ancient stone source with its spring water will help to brighten your stay. The environment is also particularly suitable for children. Relevant to the villa is the ancient family oratory which, on request, can be visited like other parts of the building.

We stayed in one of Paolo’s apartments for two weeks. The apartment was nice and clean. The pool area is great. There is an amazing view from the house which is nicely located in a small village. There are plenty of things to see and do in the area. Paolo, the host is very kind and we had the opportunity to taste his amazing homemade pizza.we hope to be back soon

Wir waren leider nur 2 Nächte, aber wir kommen wieder.
Der Pool ist der Hammer ....
Sauber sehr gepflegt.
Wir wurden sehr herzig empfangen und fühlten uns rund um wohl. Es war alles sehr sauber, Kompliment an Paolo der sehr hilfsbereit, zuvorkommend und gastfreundlich ist. Danke für den schönen (leider sehr kurzen) Aufenthalte.

We had the most amazing stay at Villa Benedetta with our kids. The historic charming villa just next to the pool overlooking the whole Valley. Everything is clean and looked after with respect to the history of the house. We drank the cleanist water from the mountains that ran through the villa during our stay so we didnt have to bring heavy bottles from the supermarket. You get your privacy and the feeling of being Home away from Home. All this due to our amazing host Paolo, who has the most friendly welcoming attitude towards his guests. And he makes the best pizza Margarita we all agreed :-) Paolo really would like for you as a guest to enjoy your stay. The close city Castelnuovo di Gafagnana is also a very Nice small village with a tranquill atmosphere. Thank you for having us. :-)

Extraordinary stay at Paolo's villa - very accommodating and extremely helpful, beautiful apartment and pool area, all very clean and inviting. Paolo made pizza for us the last night - We will be back for sure!
