About this apartment rental
Pretty quiet duplex in the historic city center (Town Hall Square, Place des Cardeurs), bright, with charming balcony, free fast wifi, air conditionning, separate bedroom, "italian" style shower and open kitchen. In the heart of the historical center, you will be inside the Aix-en-Provence way of living, close to art and culture. Perfect for couples, solo travelers, business and even families with 2 children!
Located on the 3rd and 4th floor of an ancient building of the historic center within 100m of the town hall and carders famous places, it overlooks a quiet street and directly close to restaurants and bakeries.
You will find a lot of provencal charm with its floor tiles in the bedroom and its old books coming from my parents and grandmothers.
The living room has a double sofa bed a small table, a diner table and its 4 chairs and an extra desk. The balcony is composed of a small side table in marble and chairs.
The open kitchen is fully equipped (coffee maker, kettle, washing machine and everything needed to cook every day (- salt, pepper, olive oil but also pots, pans, etc).
The room is equipped with a double bed (140x190) with a very good mattress and a for a restful vacation.
The bathroom has a walk-in shower decorated with Provencal tiles, , a towel heater and a sink. The toilet is in the bathroom.
Eloise and I are in charge of the apartment, available at any time between 8am and 22pm to meet your every need.
Do not forget to water the plants please, especially in the summer!
You are at home, observe the same rules as you would see at home :)
You live in a building with other people, respect their peace by limiting noise at night and too much discussion on the stairs and your stay will be even better.
We ask you not to smoke inside the apartment but on the balcony!

The apartment had everything we need for a short stay. The photographs were clearly taken sometime ago and the place could do with some re-decoration. The bed was not at all comfortable for me and it is also worth noting that there are a lot of stairs up to the apartment which may be an issue for some. The location is excellent and we had no problem with noise.

Pleasant living space with nice balcony. well equipped kitchen. Nice to be able to get a through draft when hot with window at one end and balcony door at the other. Quiet bedroom but a bit bleak and very basic.

This was the only place out of about 12 places where the hosts were not even there to greet me. It was a difficult place to find, and a difficult place to get in. As usual I have a lot of questions to ask about the town and there were no hosts to answer my questions. Also I couldn’t get things to work in the apartment.
