About this apartment rental
Le salon est équipé d'un canapé convertible 2 places, un fauteuil, une table basse, une télé écran plat avec box TV Internet.
Un coin repas aménagé avec table et chaises pour vos repas ou travailler.
2 grandes fenêtres donnent sur la rue Bedarrides et ses belles boutiques (pas de restaurant, ni de bar mais située en centre ville piéton il s'agit d'une rue vivante et passante). Double vitrage.
La cuisine, ouverte sur le salon, est entièrement équipée (machine à café Nespresso, grille-pain, bouilloire, machine à laver le linge, et tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner au quotidien (sel, poivre, huile d'olive mais aussi poêles, casseroles, etc).
La chambre peut accueillir jusqu'à 4 personnes. Elle est équipée d'un lit 2 places (140x200) avec matelas et sur matelas pour un repos réparateur. Un lit simple (90x200) et un lit tiroir (90x200) complètent les couchages. Tables de nuits et meuble pour ranger vos affaires.
Possibilité d'ajouter un lit parapluie sur demande.
La salle de bain est équipée d'une superbe douche à l'italienne, d'un meuble avec une vasque.
Les toilettes sont séparés de la salle de bain

A friend and I rented the apartment for a long weekend. The flat is in a great location right in the old town and close to all the attractions in Aix. It is very clean and well appointed for a short break. As it is centrally located, in a small street, it is noisy as there are bars and restaurants nearby with people around until very early in the morning. There was also noise from people coming back very late in the building. If you don't mind noise, then it is a great flat to rent to explore Aix.

The apartment was in a very good location in central old town area. The AC was the best we had in France and appreciated as it was very hot in Aix.
Downsides included finding many mosquitos in the apartment (not sure how they were getting in) and a building entryway that was quite unclean. Also, the stairs up to the apartment and slanting floors inside the apartment may not be for everyone.

The apartment was at a convenient location in the old town and relatively near the train station, but is very old and in need of major remodeling. The check in process was smooth. The apartment is nicely decorated, and had a functioning air conditioner in the living room and appliances like a hair dryer. Because the building is very old, the floor was warped and sinking in at various places, and the tables and chairs are all slanted. The drainage was also a problem - the shower was draining very slowly and lip to the shower it very shallow, so the first time I showered it overflowed, causing me to have to soak up the bathroom floor with the bath mat and sponge. We subsequently had to carefully ensure the shower curtain “stuck” to the wall top to bottom and turn off the water regularly to let it drain. The apartment had a dehumidifier across the bathroom which we ran constantly. There were mosquitoes coming up from the drains (we kept the windows closed), and I killed 7 mosquitoes in less than 48 hours. We booked this place because we to cook food from the farmer’s market. The kitchen did have good knives and sufficient utensils, but the teflon frying pans were extremely scratched up and not clean, and there were only metal spatulas. There was one large pot with a lid and two smaller saucers. The bed was comfortable but had a pull out bed that stuck out from underneath so you need to be careful not to trip on it. I think in the future I would try to not stay in the old town.
