My partner, me and my dog stayed here twice; once for two nights on our way through France and the second time for three nights on our way home. The owner Olivier met us when we arrived and he was very friendly and showed us around the property. The cottage has been nicely converted and is very clean and well equipped. The cottage is only 5 minutes from Vouvray and lots of lovely villages and Châteaux are within 30 minutes by car. We thought that charging 120 euros for cleaning and linen for each stay was a bit expensive but we agreed with the owner to only pay once as we stayed twice within a two week period. It would be better to increase the daily rate to cover the cost of the cleaning and linen which is what we did at the other Vrbo property we stayed at in Haute Savoie. The only other minor thing is that the property listing says there is allotted parking for the cottage but in fact the space is also used by local residents and visitors so we had to park on the road sometimes. Overall we had a lovely stay here and it’s a great base to visit this part of the Loire valley.

The gite is a lovely modern conversion of an old farmhouse and is very well equipped and well situated being only 5 minutes from Vouvray and lots of châteaux within 30 minutes by car. Olivier the owner met us when we arrived and he was very friendly and showed us around the property. It is a lovely place to stay but the price for linen and cleaning per stay is expensive. However, we managed to agree with the owner to only pay once for linen and cleaning as we had two short stays within a two week period. It would be better to increase the daily rental to include the linen and cleaning which was the arrangement at the other Vrbo property we stayed at in France on the same holiday. There is some train noise from the nearby TGV line so we closed the bedroom windows in the evening. The only other minor thing is that allocated parking is shown in the property description but in fact this is shared parking with local residents and other visitors so we had to park on the road sometimes. Overall a lovely place to stay and in a great position to visit this part of the Loire valley.

Gîte très cosi, avec une bonne literie. Correctement équipé avec même un lave vaisselle en dessous du four. Gîte très bien situé pour aller visiter des châteaux. Au cœur du domaine viticole, pas très loin des vignes mais pas de vue directe sur les vignes. Dommage que la ligne TGV passe à hauteur des fenêtres... amis au sommeil sensible, gîte à éviter... pour les autres, gîte recommandé !
