Electric heating., Fireplace (free wood insert). 2 terraces. Court and unfenced. All charges included. Shops at Montsalvy at 7 km. Aurillac 37 km. Lot Valley. Conques. Basic Canoeing Vieillevie. Cantal mountains, many walking trails. very quiet, ideal for rest.
Altitude 535 m. Access by dirt road. Possible additional beds in the annex.
Price 260 € in low season and 400 € July / August the week.
Possibility courses stays in low season, 2 nights 130 €, 3 nights 173 €, 4 nights 195 €.

This cottage and outbuilding are absolutely secluded set on a remote hillside. You cannot hear any traffic or people. It is set in a beautiful forest and has a lovely patio with views over the hillside. There is tons of wildlife including birds, lizards, butterflies, fox, etc.
The owner was very friendly and forthcoming. We had excellent communication despite our limited French.
The accommodation is well stocked with all appliances you need including iron, gas stove, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, coffee makers, barbecue and TV. The showers were a little dated, but ok.
I can recommend this accommodation without reserve. If you are looking for a quite oasis nestled in beautiful nature, you will find it here.

I'm glad that we mainly had good weather as the place is too small to sit in for long periods plus the seating in the living area is very uncomfortable. If you're a big (fat) person you would struggle to get into the shower as you have to squeeze yourself between the basin and the open door to get to it. It really needs a sliding door fitting to make access easier.
Now for the good points.
We really enjoyed sitting outside on the sunny days and evenings living in the middle of the Forrest. The garden was beautiful.
Other reviews said it was difficult to find which I disagree with, if you can read a map and do a bit of homework before setting off it's straightforward to find.
The wifi was an unexpected bonus.
