We couldn’t have asked for more from our two week stay at this gîte in Aveyron. From the moment we arrived we knew the accommodation would be perfect, with an enclosed garden for our two spaniels and walks in the woods from the door, comfortable bed, all the equipment needed, bbq and covered terrace and access to the owners’ swimming pool with the most stunning views.
The location is also perfect, less than 5 minutes from the lovely Livinhac with a great restaurant in the square, and easy access to the River Lot for wild swimming. There is a supermarket 15 minutes away, and vet (important if you are holidaying with your dog/s from U.K.) 20 minutes away.
Because the gîte, garden and location are so beautiful, we only made one day-trip out. The rest of the time we stayed at or near the gîte, swimming two or three times a day in the beautiful pool or popping down to the Lot for a dip, walking in the woods and sitting in the garden watching the goats, sheep and horse and the many wild birds.
The hosts are lovely; friendly yet discreet. The gîte is far enough from their home to feel independent, yet they are near enough to help if needed. As we were ready to leave, our car wouldn’t start (the battery was drained, probably because we didn’t go out much!) and M Joffre went out of his way to help, fetching a battery charger from his son, calling a mechanic for advice and spending over an hour helping us to get going.
All in all, a perfect holiday, thank you.

Dans cette maison on se sent comme chez soi, il y a tout le confort intérieur comme extérieur.
Le cadre est charmant et reposant, la nature est présente, elle offre de belles balades en forêt.
La piscine permet de se détendre après une bonne journée de balade, la vue sur le lot est incroyable.
Les propriétaires sont très agréables, ils font tout le nécessaire pour que le séjour se passe à merveille.

Maison propre et accueillante, seul bémol les escaliers très raides. A part cela rien à dire.
