Cottage in its green setting, in the middle of its wooded park, enjoying a superb view of the Normandy grove. Large half-timbered house and thatched roof built in a traditional way in the heart of the Orne, in the Normandy Maine Natural Park and close to the Ecouves Forest. Many historical and natural sites, many hiking trails in this country of breeding and stud farms.
200 kms from Paris, 1 hour from the landing beaches, 1h30 from Mont Saint Michel.

We enjoyed a lot our holidays in Normandie, not only for sport but also tourism.
The "chaumière" is located in a very quiet place, near a forest, small villages and only 10/12 km from Argentan.
It's confortable enough for a big family or friends group.
The owner, Marguerite, very gentle and friendly with us. She offered bikes for the children and invited us to her own house and see the horses. Her husband, very helpful in order to solve the very few and small inconvenients happened: for example, the dishwasher didn't work and they had no problem in buying a new one for us.
Bit by bit they are upgrading the old parts of the house.
Conclusion: a very recommendable place to stay at.
Hopefully we will come back next year or sometime in the future.

This is a delightful and charming cottage. We enjoyed the porch and beautiful views for hours. It made our trip!
