The holiday resort of Hainrode/Hainleite advertises itself with the slogan 'idyllic - relaxing - magical'. A region with one of the largest contiguous beech forest areas in Europe. Directly from the house you have access to the region's network of hiking trails and a forest path, which is designated as a nature trail. In the neighbourhood: Hünstein outdoor pool, nature trail, riding stables and much more. Leisure activities: Riding stables, summer toboggan run and Straußberg monkey forest, town of Nordhausen: old town, Harzquerbahn, bathhouse, diving centre, cinema, theatre. Town of Sondershausen: castle, Possen leisure park. Wir waren für zwei Tage in dem Objekt und haben eine schöne Zeit genossen, der Kontakt zu den Mietern war ausserordentlich freundlich und die Umgebung idyllisch. Einzig die hohen Stromkosten haben den Aufenthalt getrübt.

Objekt war ordentlich und schön gelegen. Die Schlafzimmer und das Bad lagen im Keller und waren darum sehr kalt. Mit den Elektroheizungen haben wir die Räume etwas warm gemacht. Leider kam die Überraschung am Ende. 60 Euro Strom für 2 Tage. Für eine Urlaubswoche kämen so locker mind. 210 Euro extra dazu (und wir waren am 18.-20. Mai und nicht im Winter!)

Die Umgebung ist sehr schön.im Sommer bestimmt noch besser. Das Haus ist recht sauber und bietet genug Platz für 6 Leute. Dank des Kamines ist es am Abend schön warm und romantisch.

Wir verbrachten einige schöne Herbsttage in dem gemütlichen Ferienhaus. Die Wanderwege, auf denen wir bis auf wenige Hundespaziergänger alein unterwegs waren, beginnen direkt am Ferienhaus. Das Ferienhaus ist gut ausgestattet. Etwas ungewöhnlich ist die Zimmeraufteilung. Das Kinderzimmer befindet sich im oberen Bereich, während die Elternschlafzimmer unten sind, was für Eltern mit Kleinkindern etwas unpraktisch ist. Als wir ankamen, war das Haus sehr kalt, wurde durch die Elektroheizung jedoch schnell warm. Das hat sich am Ende leider in der sehr hohen Nebenkostenabrechnung bemerkbar gemacht. Hier sollte man für eine Woche noch mit ca. 100,00 € zusätzlich rechnen.
