About this chalet rental
Mountain cabin for 4 to 8 persons at 1800 m see level in an excellent hiking area (summer) and skiing area (winter). It is ideally suited for families and people who like it calm and cosy. There are a living/dining room, 3 sleeping rooms, 2 bathrooms and sauna, a balcony to the south, with a total living area of 120 sq. m., TV, radio, CD, phone and a fully equipped kitchen. The house is heated with a cosy stove (wood included).
Activities: This house is situated in the 'Kärntner Nockberge' in between Bad Kleinkirchheim and Turrach, 150 km from Venice, 70 km from Slowenia, 50 km to Klagenfurt or Villach. This is a wonderful hiking area during summer and autumn in the National Park 'Nockberge'. There are wwo hot springs or spa. Golf and Tennis possibilities in Bad Kleinkirchheim. Several lakes are suitable for bathing, swimming and watersports, they are within 15 - 60 km. You will find here a very clear mountain lake, fishing possiblities, Ponyriding, Murmets-Park, traditional evenings, mountain biking and in winter all kinds of wintersports.
Skiing Area: Family skiing from 1700 m to 2300 m. 5 Lifts with nice slopes for beginners and more advanced skiers. Especially suited for families with day care and childrens courses. Track and downhill skiing, ski rental, also snowboarding. Snow assured from December to April.
National Park Nockberge: Very nice natural park for long hikes for everybody seeking tranquillity and nature.

Wir haben als Familie eine Woche in diesem Ferienhaus verbracht.
Das Haus ist sehr nett eingerichtet und verfügt über alle Annehmlichkeiten, die man für eine Woche so braucht. Besonders gefallen hat uns die Holzheizung (Scheitgut-Kachelofen im Wohnzimmer, Pellets-Ofen im Keller), sie hat eine sehr angenehme Stimmung erzeugt. Der Wellness-Bereich im Keller ist für ein einzelnes Ferienhaus außergewöhnlich!
Die Lage des Hauses ist ausgezeichnet, ganz ruhig am hinteren Ende der Ferienhaussiedlung in Falkertsee. Rund um das Haus gibt es genügend Freiraum, um im Winter zu spielen und einen Schneemann zu bauen.

Schönes Holzhaus, sehr groß auch für mehrere Leute, nur der Kühlschrank ist für max 4 Personen ausreichend. Der Wellnessbereich ist TOP, auch gut beheizbar, Sauna und Whirlpool mit vorhandener Beschreibung leicht bedienbar. Leider kann man im Winter die Zufahrt nicht nutzen und auch zu Fuß war diese sehr vereist, weil kein Winterdienst vorhanden ist. Das ist mit Kinder sehr mühsam. Der Holzofen war auch schwer zu bedienen, obwohl Erfahrungen mit Holzofen vorhanden. Sonst jeder Zeit wieder.

Wir hatten eine wirklich tolle Winter- und Skiurlaubswoche auf der Sauerlacher Hütte!
Beim Ankommen konnten wir im nahegelegenen Kärtnerhaus noch die Vermieter treffen und kennen lernen, was sehr angenehm war. Das Haus war super, Wellnessbereich mit Sauna und Whirlwanne wurden viel genutzt und die Umgebung am Falkert toll!

Wir waren bereits das zweite Mal in der Sauerlacher Hütte. Auch dieses Jahr haben wir wieder einen schönen erholsamen Urlaub genießen können.
