About this cabin rental
An exclusively furnished wooden house awaits you 1800m above sea level. The 140 m² living area offers sleeping space for 2 to 10 people (4 bedrooms, 2 of which have a double bed, one bedroom with a double bed and another double bed in the gallery and 1 bedroom with a bunk bed), a spacious living/dining room with another gallery and a completely furnished kitchen. Our house has been furnished with 2 bathrooms starting in December 2006. In addition to the shower, a bath tub is also now available. Furthermore, the newly built sauna is available for use. There is a unique view into the valley from the gallery, balcony and the patio (which has places to sit). The whole property was completely renovated and expanded in the past few years.
Biking and mountain biking: The Nockberge Mountains around Bad Kleinkichheim and the Falkertsee offer a comprehensive, wonderfully marked biking network. You can get cards of the network at the Bad Kleinkirchheim tourism office. The tracks offer all levels of difficulty (hour rides and day-long rides with an elevation of over 1000 m) and all types (from biking paths on gravel roads to single trails and downhill trails). Stops and traditional lodges along the paths and the landscape of the Nockberge nature reserve make your excursions an unforgettable experience.
Nordic Walking: The area around the Falkertsee also offers this new trendy sport. You can find labeled courses with different levels of difficulty on the Turracher Höhe. The different courses will excite you through their stunning landscape.
Specialities: You can use the 'Kärnten' (Carinthia) card from May to October. With this card you can visit a lot of attractions at no cost. Included are lifts, museums, discounts for beaches, amusement parks and a lot more. You can get the 'Kärnten' card at the Bad Kleinkirchheim tourism office.

The cottage met our all expectations. It is very nicely situated. The kitchen is very well equipped. For two families (4 + 4) was very comfortable and spacious. Sauna is a nice thing, but you have to remember about electricity costs. Additional fees for 7 days were 345 Euro (including the use of the sauna twice) and also 10 Euro for a small dog. The nearest ski area Bad Kleinkircheim is okay, lots of nice slopes but the infrastructure is old, with couches quite slow and not closed. In nice sunny weather it is enough, but when it is snowing or windy, then the use of the gondola becomes inevitable.
