In addition to the ruins of Güntersburg Castle and Anhalt Castle, the Glasebach Mine Mining Museum is also worth a visit in the region. Experience the romantic Selketal valley from the narrow-gauge railroad, whose original landscape is characterized by rugged cliffs, flowering meadows, picturesque ponds and extensive beech and oak forests. This valley can also be hiked along the Selketalstieg trail. Visitors to the Albertine Leisure Park in Harzgerode can enjoy a swimming pool, a giant slide, an adventure pool with a counter-current channel, a splash shower and a water mushroom, a paddling pool, a miniature golf course and a beach volleyball court.

Uns hat der Baustil des Ferienhauses angesprochen und begeistert, somit waren auch Regentage der reinste Urlaub in diesem schönen Blockhaus. Ob lesen, musizieren oder einfach nur chillen am großen TV mit allen Programmen, jeder Tag war erfüllt. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und geben gerne Tipps für Unternehmungen. Wanderungen und Radtouren können vom Ort aus gestartet werden, touristische Attraktionen des Harzes müssen allerdings mit dem Auto angefahren werden. In jedem Fall werden wir hier noch einmal ein paar Tage verbringen.
