Garden view from every window! Stylish luxury loft in a former bakery on the edge of the center in the hip west of Leipzig. Quiet residential area! Private parking on the property. Shops for daily needs, bike rental and tram stop "around the corner". Direct connection to the city center.
The loft is designed for up to 4 people (children from about 10 years).
FURNISHING
High quality king-size-bed - 2 pillows per person! For the 3rd and 4th A comfortable sofa bed (140x200) is available for one person if required. Real wood parquet, underfloor heating. Smart TV (117 cm), home theater system with CD / DVD. WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS. Small selection of DVDs, travel guides and various Literature. Design gas fireplace (optional use for a fee). A small selection of wines can be purchased on site.
Kitchen with fridge and small freezer compartment, double hotplate, toaster, kettle etc. Fully automatic coffee machine with the basic equipment of beans and tea included in the price. Enjoy your stay!
Own shower room accessible from the hall with floor-level shower, rain and hand shower and light gray glass mosaic tiles. Bed linen, towels, bathrobes and toiletries included in the price. Own garden part, large south-west terrace with lounge furniture.
The accommodation is not suitable for small children and children up to 10 years! We ask for your understanding.
HISTORY
The old bakery was built in 1905 as a corner building in the typical factory building style of the Wilhelminian period. The baked goods produced here were sold in the shop in the front building. A car repair shop in GDR times, the small yellow clinker brick building fell into disrepair in the post-reunification period and in 2006 was literally saved at the last minute from demolition. The renovation, which was carried out in accordance with the preservation order, received a commendation from the Leipzig Cultural Foundation. Today, the old bakery is a listed building and was expanded in 2014 to include a puristic, generously glazed annex and a high clinker wall on the street side.

Not least because of its architectural versatility, the old masonry with its modern extension is a popular film location and has already been the backdrop for various photo and television productions (including Crime scene, in all friendship, veterinarian Dr. Mertens, family with obstacles etc.). LOCATION
Everyday necessities such as bakeries, supermarkets, pharmacy, doctors, bike rental and tram stop "around the corner". Quiet residential area, with only a few smaller restaurants and garden bars. A few minutes drive to the hip Karl-Heine-Straße with many pubs and shops. The Lindenauer Markt is within walking distance. A walk in the Auwald (Leutzscher wood) or to the Auensee is also worthwhile. There canals and extensive dikes invite you to take a walk.
IMPORTANT!
This is an "original" loft in a former industrial building. This means a room, even if it is divided into different areas. Only the shower room is separately accessible via the hall, with a door. This part of the building (half of the house) of the old bakery is one-story, the access is at ground level.
PHOTO AND FILM RECORDING / COMMERCIAL USE
The fee charged for the use of the loft relates exclusively to the overnight service! Any production of film and / or photo recordings in and of the premises, the building and the outdoor facilities, their use as a backdrop and any other use of the object, for example as a sales room, showroom, photo, film or event location require the prior registration and the express consent of the landlord and a corresponding usage fee.
With your booking you agree to the house rules and our terms and conditions. This is also in the loft and is part of the contract.

Sehr schönes, geschmackvoll möbliertes Loft. Hell und großzügig, ein fantastischer Garten. Auch die Vermieterin super sympathisch und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr, sehr wohlgefühlt. Dass es in dieser tollen Wohnung "nur" eine kleine Pantryküche gibt, war für uns kein Problem. Für Kleinigkeiten reicht es, groß aufkochen wollten wir sowieso nicht und wir haben den "Spüldienst" der Vermieterin sehr genossen ;-). Vielen Dank nochmal für die tollen Tage! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Die FeWo ruhig gelegen im Grünen und doch in der Stadt mit kurzen Wegen zu Straßenbahn zum Bäcker Supermärkten Kneipen u. s. w.
Traumhafter Garten der zum verweilen einlädt und nichts zu wünschen übrig lässt
Sehr freundliche witzige Vermieterin die uns mit guten Information versorgte und immer für uns da war.
gerne kommen wir wieder in die " Loft im Alten Backhaus"

Das Loft ist wunderschön und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Alles was man braucht und mehr ist vorhanden.
Wir würden jederzeit wieder buchen.

Alles super, wir wurden herzlich empfangen, es an nicht's gefehlt. Es war sehr schön in der Unterkunft, mal was ganz anderes und die Gastgeberin war sehr nett. Daumen hoch, würden wieder kommen!
