About this house rental
Villa Carolin (CIR-CODE 017187 - CNI00210) is located in an absolute panoramic situation above Toscolano-Maderno next to the picturesque little village Maclino. One enjoys here an incomparable view about the complete southern part of the Garda Lake, spreading from Isola del Garda to the rock of Manerba, the opposite headland S. Vigilio and further north to Monte Baldo.
To get to he lake takes only 5-10 autominutes.
The property with palms, lawns and olive trees is about 3,000 square metres and, hence, offers place for children to play as well as a small (approx. 3x4m) pool in quiet situation behind and above the house. Here you'll also find an outside shower (cold water) as well as a relaxing area for a restful day. 4 sun loungers as well as a table and chairs are available.
The house was built of 60th / to the 70s and is in his equipment according to this time. We have done quite some refurbishments that preserves the charm of the villa but offers all modern amenities for a nice holiday:
- newly furnitured living room
- modern fitted kitchen with dishwasher
- new modern bathrooms in upper floor and basement
- bedrooms and children room equipped with modern furniture and beds
The upper floor comprises the principal domicile with living/dining area, bedroom with double bed and air-conditioning, children's room with bed and child cot as well as bath (directly accesible from bedroom), kitchen and guests WC.
From the living/dining area one enjoys the view and has access on the generous panoramic terrace.
The upper floor is equipped for max. 2 adults and 2 children.
The Basement flat, which can be booked against a surcharge , comprises two bedrooms with double beds as well as a sitting room with folding couch.
Notwithstanding the above, you will always be only guest in the house and have exclusive use of the amenities and the property.
Maximum occupation is with 7 persons ( maximum 4 adults). From the 4th person and/or with additional reservation of the basement we calculate a surcharge of 25€ per person (basement minimum 2 additional persons).
Cleaning fee is 120€ (upper floor) resp. 150€ (both floors)
In immediate surroundings (300m) is the pizzeria "Rustichel" as well as the restaurant "Belvedere". Various other restaurants as well as several big supermarkets are accessible, like the beach, at 5-10 minutes by the car.
Linen for beds as well as towels (hand towel/bath towel each) are included per person, however, no bath towels for the beach/pool.
All windows are equipped with fly screens.

The view from Villa Carolin is amazing and we lived on the terrace! The property worked well for the four of us as we wanted a bedroom each. Felt it should be clearer in the listing that the two floors are not connected and only accessed from the outside.
A small microwave would have been an advantage. Rolf and Sarah were brilliant at communicating with us, before and during our stay.

"Wir hatten uns in dem Ferienhaus gut gefühlt. Die Ausstattung war i.O. Der Panoramablick auf den Gardasee war einfach klasse und sehr fotogen. Für den Preis der Unterkunft hätten wir einen Verbesserungs-Vorschlag, um den Pool zu genießen: Die Pooltreppe müsste schnellstens erneuert werden. Ich habe mir mein Schienbein beim Aussteigen verletzt. Die Treppe wackelt gefährlich und rutscht in Richtung Poolmauer. Nicht kindergerecht! Die Angabe der Pooltiefe in Ihrem Internetangebot wäre dazu für Kinder auch nicht uninteressant. Die Ruhe war sehr eingegrenzt, da die Fahrzeuge am Grundstück entlang zum Teil ( Enduros, Sportautos...) mit einer Motor-Überdrehung vorbeigerauscht sind.......... trotzdem, wir kommen gerne wieder an den Gardasee. Vielleicht durch ein anderes gutes Angebot in Ihrem Internet-Fe-Wo-Angebot."

Wir hatten eine tolle und heiße Zeit am Gardasee…das Haus ist echt super. Für 2 Paare optimal, da wir beide Etagen gemietet hatten. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. An Hausstand war alles vorhanden. Der Pool im Garten war für die heiße Zeit einfach nur klasse. Von den Ausflügen nach Hause, sind wir sofort in den Pool zum Abkühlen. Und die Aussicht war einfach nur herrlich.
