Just a few minutes away from Deauville, Trouville and Honfleur, the cottages are located near the famous Cider Route, a variety of golf courses and many other attractions and activities are available at your doorstep. The 1.7 hectares of land will offer you the tranquility, nature and breathing space you have been looking for.
Ideally located to allow you to enjoy horseback riding, explore the local picturesque villages of Pont-l'Evêque, Cambremer, Beaumont-en-Auge, just to name a few, and famous historic sites such as the Landing Beaches, Tapestry de Bayeux and many more. This location offers you the option of playing a round of golf or simply enjoying the surrounding beaches - all are just a short drive away.
Furthermore, you can benefit from Manon and Xavier’s knowledge of the best local food artisans and traiteurs, think locally produced cider and fresh sea food! To top it all off, they have a wide variety of comic books (French) and DVD’s (old) at your disposal.

We stayed in the cottage named Bergerie, which was absolutely fantastic in terms of its aesthetics, facilities, location, and above all, its fantastic host, Manon.
Such a beautifully clean and decorated cottage, which reflects Manon's eye for detail and desire to make the guests most welcome.
Super location for touring the Pays D'Auge, with closeness to Lisieux, Pont L' Eveque, together with being a stones throw from the beautiful coastal locations of Deauville, and Honfluer.
Well recommend Le Nid De Merle for vacations. We would certainly consider coming here again.

Wij hebben een fantastische 2 weken gehad in Le Nid de Merle. Nog voor de reis hielp gastvrouw Manon ons met al onze vragen en zorgde ze ervoor dat alle nodige babyspullen klaar stonden in het huis. Bij aankomst werden we hartelijk begroet, het huis was proper en alle denkbare keukenspullen waren aanwezig: super om de vakantie zo te beginnen! Het huis is gelegen bovenop een heuvel, dus het uitzicht vanop het terras was fantastisch en de omgeving erg rustig. Zonder enige opdringerigheid kwam gastvrouw Manon ook regelmatig vragen of alles naar wens was en indien we iets nodig hadden, werd het binnen de 10 minuten geregeld: echt héél fijn! Het huis is redelijk centraal gelegen in Normandië en op slechts 20 minuten van het strand (Deauville), waardoor we 2 weken lang heel wat steden en bezienswaardigheden op maximaal 1 uur rijden konden bezoeken. Wij kunnen iedereen een verblijf bij Le Nid de Merle aanraden, zeker met (kleine) kindjes!

Weg von der Welt mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht in eine fantatische Landschaft und dennoch sehr gut angebunden. Unkomplizierte, sehr aufmerksame Gastgeber. Sehr gut ausgestattetes Haus. Kurz: ein Traumurlaub!

A picture perfect location, in a huge private garden with the most beautiful views. We loved the terrace for evening drinks watching the sunset. We sat outside to eat most days and our little boys loved being able to explore the garden. The cottage is just the right size, with everything you need for kids (including high chair, travel cot and bedding, kids plates and cutlery, and loads of great toys). Everything was spotlessly clean and the decor is modern and stylish - and suitable for toddlers. The only extra thing i would have liked is a stair gate because of the wooden stairs and hard stone floors. It just meant we had to keep our eyes on the baby at all times!
The local town Pont L'Eveque is charming and has everything you need (lots of boulangeries!!). We especially loved visiting Honfleur, Deauville & Trouville (AMAZING beaches), and Parc Zoologique Cerza. So much to see and do (and EAT!)
I would definitely recommend this to anyone with young kids, who wants something a bit more modern and luxurious than the usual French Gites. I thought it was beautiful, comfortable and incredibly good value. We hope to come back and stay again soon.
