About this house rental
Very confortable house + veranda in CANCALE, located in LE VERGER, nearby 3 sandy beaches + the famous chapel with the same name linked by a very picturesque « path of the customs officers ».
You will notice with the following documentation that our holiday home was made for one or two families together (with one child or more) each one living at its own pace, and joining in the common rooms (living/dining room, kitchen and particuliarly the large veranda remarquably located so that one can have breakfast enjoying the sun rise, and dinner enjoying the sun set). The house is very well insolated.
It is surrounded with a yard planted with several eucalyptus and many small patches of trees (mimosas, forsythies, cotoneaster, camellias, etc…). It is in a very calm quiet area, far from any traffic, and children can play very safely.

We were a family of 9, granma, 2 sons and wives, an 18 year old grandson and 3 x 10/11 year old grandchildren.
The owners were very communicative and helpful, and the check in with the manager was very easy.
The house was lovely and spacious and very well equipped. We all loved the big garden, but the weather wasn't warm enough for us to spend much time in it, or use the BBQ.
We enjoyed lovely times relaxing and having family meals in the large conservatory, which was a fabulous opportunity for us all to be together.
My son brought paddle boards and we all enjoyed using them in the lovely bay, which is only a 10/15 minute walk away, or a short drive if needing to take gear. The beach and sea were lovely and clean and uncrowded, and there is a snack shack near by.
I used the local bus a few times, which stops right at the end of the quiet cul de sac, to and from St Malo and Cancale (promenade and town). It seemed very reliable and a very pleasant route, €2 per journey.
There is a large supermarket a short drive away, and there are lots of lovely places for coastal walks, restaurants and pretty town visits.
I had a lovely, bright ground floor double bedroom with shower and toilet just outside the door. We had a bit of a problem with finding a bedroom for the young adult, as the there were 2 double rooms for the couples and a triple room for the children, but the 5th room was a nursery room off the adults room, so we made up a bed on the ground floor. 👍

Wir haben mit einem befreundeten Ehepaar eine wunderschöne Ferienwoche in diesem
besonderen Ferienhaus verbracht. Bereits die Kommunikation mit den Eigentümern im Vorfeld war sehr einladend und informativ. Die ungewöhnlich großzügige Ausstattung, besonders der Küche, ließ keinen Wunsch offen. Bei sehr windigem Wetter war der große, mit Essplatz und Sitzgruppe ausgestattete Wintergarten ein bevorzugter Aufenthaltsort.

Maison agréable à vivre, surtout avec la véranda qui est très bien exposée, plaisir à prendre nos repas dans cette partie ensoleillée.
Terrain clos, comme promis, qui permet aux enfants de jouer sans problème en toute sécurité et aux parents de se rassurer.
Chambres et salles de bains très bien également.
Maison bien située, dans une impasse pas bruyante. Proche du centre et des environs pour visiter.
Nous recommandons cette location bien sûr.

La personne qui assure la remise des clés est très sympathique et d'arrangement.
