About this farm stay rental
La Peyriere is one of the most beautiful examples of a French farmhouse you could possibly find, located right in the heart of Aveyron, South-West France. Situated in the hills near the town of La Fouillade, and just 30 minutes from France's favourite village 2014 and 2015, Cordes sur Ciel and St Antonin Noble Val. It provides the perfect escape from everyday life, yet it's within 60 minutes drive of 8 'Beaux Villages de France'.
A very typical example of local architecture with a beautiful 'fish scale' slate tile roof. Renovated to a very high standard and impeccably maintained ever since. The sunset over the pool and kitchen is to die for!
The property benefits from a beautiful outdoor area, with terrace overlooking the heated swimming pool and BBQ (the pool is open May - October) and wrapped around with a 4 acre field to provide you with as much privacy as you could wish for.
Nestled in the hills 5 minutes from Lunac, a village with Boulangarie, and 10 minutes from La Fouillade, which has a major supermarket. We're incredibly lucky to be just 15 minutes away from the enchanting 'Beaux' village of Najac.
Slightly further afield we are 30 minutes drive away form 3 stunning towns... Saint Antonin Noble Val, with a stunning Sunday market and voted the most beautiful town in France in 2015. Then to the South East, Cordes sur Ciel, a hilltop town with lovely restaurants and shops, voted the most beautiful town in France a few year earlier!

We had a lovely stay at La Peyriere. The house has everything you need - kitchen is very well stocked. Chris was a wonderful host and supplied us with a great guide of the area. Can’t wait to go back for in the Summer! Thank you!

What a gorgeous house! Brilliant stay at La Peyriere with friends. Spent the day time enjoying the local walking trails and the evenings snuggled up by the fire. Chris was a fantastic host.

Le Peyriere is wonderful property in a beautiful part of France. It is in a secluded location but near enough to local shops and there are loads of things to do and see within a short drive.The house had everything we needed and is spacious. There is a well-maintained pool and a games room.
Kayaking on the Aveyron was a highlight but there are also amazing walks and beautiful villages all around. Chis the owner was very responsive and nothing was too much trouble. Property manager Fred was also very helpful and friendly.
All in all, a great holiday and we would thoroughly recommend and would happily return.

We had a great stay for 12 days in La Peyriere. Chris answered all my questions promptly and provide a guide pack listing local towns/restaurant recommendations etc.House was great and we spent many happy hours by the pool when we weren’t exploring the local area.Great holiday and would definitely recommend to anyone!
