About this villa rental
Amadeus is a spacious and comfortable 4 bedroom Villa, 3 of these bedrooms are accessed via a marble spiral staircase, 2 twin bedded rooms and 1 double 5ft bedded room with en suite and large private balcony. There is also a double 5ft bedroom located on the ground floor. It has 3 bathrooms and a large open plan living / dining area. Fully fitted kitchen. The Villa is fully Air conditioned and has fly screens to all windows and shutters. It is set in the hills overlooking Kalathos and the spectacular Panoramic Sea views can be enjoyed from the private gardens, poolside and all of the bedroom balconies. It has a beautiful large patio area with pergola and brick built BBQ with table and chairs for alfresco dining. There is also Internet access. A peaceful location within easy reach of everything.
Lindos the whitewashed picturesque village is less than five minutes away by car, where you will find cobbled streets and fabulous beaches with crystal clear waters and amazing rooftop restaurant. Rhodes Greece: Rhodes is the largest of the Dodecanese Islands and the third largest Island in Greece. It is positioned south east of the mainland close to the coastline of Turkey. The Island is said to have more days of sunshine than any other in the Mediterranean and so is very popular with sun worshipers. The temperature is at its hottest in July and August at about 40 degrees. There are fewer tourists in April and May and June sees the beginnings of a busy summer with visitors from all over Europe.

Afandou 18 Hole Golf course 25 min away by car.there are 2 sets of golf clubs at villa for guest use.

What can I say! Villa was superb, exactly right for us as a now-all-grown-up family of 5 - was supposed to be 6 but one daughter had to be at work. As for the view; spectacular doesn't even start to describe it. A panoramic sweep of the whole coast, from Archangelos to Lindos.
Pool was a bit green when we arrived but the maintenance people sorted that - probably due to old sun screen in the water. No problems with it from then on. Pool is a great size, we all fitted in at once :) Villa is very well equipped, real home from home.
Kalathos itself is lovely. Not busy but a good base to get anywhere, especially Lindos. There is plenty in Kalathos, including some good tavernas. We would like to add our own personal recommendation of the On The Road bar / pizzeria next to the Shell petrol station. Pizzas were amazing and a simple walk back up to the villa meant a nice al-fresco dinner on the patio. We did that twice as the pizzas were so good!
We have been to Rhodes many times before but this is our first time staying in Kalathos. I would like to think we'll be back sometime.
Hopefully not too rambling a review but also hoping I am getting across how much we enjoyed staying at Amadeus :)

A lovely villa which housed 6 of us for 10 days. It’s in a very good location, quiet, clean, as described and it was just the place my family & I needed to unwind. Absolute perfection, thank you!
