Lovely, well-equipped old cottage in a great location just a few metres walk from the centre of Kingsbridge. We particularly appreciated the free off-street parking along the road, although we had a bit of trouble locating it at first. Several great places to eat and drink virtually on the doorstep, although the area was very quiet at night.
The only improvement I would suggest is updating the directions to the parking space because the location given didn't match the info on Google Maps. Also, it's a very old cottage and the stairs are extremely steep, so it wouldn't be suitable for someone with mobility issues. But all in all a great base for exploring the South Hams and coast.

Great location a stone's throw from the centre of town. Free parking nearby. Communication with the owner re: arrival and key collection very good.

The owner has obviously spent a bit to modernise the cottage. Nice decor, clean and well equipped. Nice modern bathroom.Located in pleasant square close to eateries etc.
I am 70 6'2" and 18stone, Think ex rugby player! I found the bed too small for my wife and I, she also has slight mobility problems and struggled to use the stairs, The bannister at the bottom of the stairs had been removed and it felt quite precarious to us, I think young slim not too tall people wouldn't have a problem. Also found the cottage suite too small for me and not comfortable.Could have done with an extra chair as we had a couple of friends round for a drink.
In summary I would say not suitable for older or larger than average people.
