If your base is garmisch and ok to give up luxury, I doubt any place can come closer. It has everything that you would need, but since it's a hostel, it off course would not have luxury. Skip that, location staff cleanliness everything is 5 star

Room and toilet space is big but it's basically empty with not enough table tops to put stuff, only 2 hangers are provided, no kettle, no hairdryer, no slippers, only 2 bath towels are provided.
Front desk staff abit unfriendly.
Only plus point is it's near the station.
Find that it's quite expensive as need to pay membership fees on top of city taxes.
On the day of check-out, you need to remove the bedsheets, pillow cases, blankets and towels and throw them in a big trolley near the lift.
