The location of this hotel is great. Big beautiful hotel. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. I had a perfect stay except that I need to mention that the pool wasn’t properly maintained and often quite dirty with debris and grease likely from sunscreen.

The images of this hotel are fantastic, however, it is far from reality. If you think you are going to have a romantic time because of the images you see of the hotel, that is not right. Breakfast is super noisy, there is no privacy at all, tables are so close that its like having breakfast with all guests. It is so huge that the noise is unbearable, plus people watching videos out loud, not using buds, and staff not enforcing a useless note in the entrance of no speakers allowed. Members of staff only speak portuguese, no english no spanish. And its as if they coudlnt care less about being helpful.
We went in September, during the day it was warm but at night it was chilly. For a 4 stars, they did not provide a quilt, just a single bedsheet. we asked for a quilt or duvet, but all they had was a brown old dirty blanket. Horrible for a 4 stars hotel and disgusting. So instead, we asked how we could have heating in the room, we saw a device that reached 30C, however it only had cold air. THey told us that the hotel does not offer heating only cold AC.
I came home with a cold because of the cold air I got in the hotel.
Finally, first day I stayed, the bedsheets had sand inside, nothing further from a 4 stars hotel.
I am celiac and require gluten free food not for choice but medical reasons. They gave me gluten free menu, and I has happy but when I ordered they grabbed everything from the main table, mixed with bread. They had no idea of how to deal with gluten free. This hotel is nothing like a 4 stars. I will never stay in any Windsor hotel again. Definetly not worth the money. Ah! no water bottles in the room as a curtesy despite staying at a premium room.

Decent location for beach. Not too much else walkable. Rooms Superficially clean, but dusty in corners etc. No in-room coffee/tea facilities. Hotel restaurant but otherwise limited easy light bite options
