    I was a bit hesitant to choose this hotel because of the negative reviews, but was pleasantly surprised by the clean room, comfortable bed, and friendly staff. And the location is perfect.

    The location of this hotel is literally right next to the main station and cathedral, so it gets 5/5 for that. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, again 5 stars. The windows in the main room and bathroom were broken so they couldn't be kipped open but that's not really a deal-breaker. The bathroom didn't have very good ventilation so there was naturally some mold growing around the shower ceiling area. Other than that, the room was clean, bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was decent. There were no amenities in the room - microwave/hot water pot/refrigerator, etc. which would have been handy to heat food for our baby. There is, however, a microwave in the breakfast room that the staff was nice enough to allow us to use - again, the staff were great! The only negative point here is the size of the elevator. Not the hotel's fault, since I'm sure it's an old building but the elevator is large enough for maybe two people or one person and a suitcase. All that said, we had a great stay and would gladly stay here again the next time we visit the beautiful city of Köln.

    In the website they selling their rooms with air conditioning option but you don’t get that rooms and also the building look like transferred from another service of building.The hygiene was almost none and you must open the windows and listen the whole sounds of street… location is perfect but can standable for just one night for me…
