About this cabin rental
The comfortable 90sqm cabin was built in 2005 in alpine style and is characterized by a hunting interior. It is suitable for 4-6 persons (dog on request). It is divided into a large living room with fireplace and fully integrated kitchen, large balcony and satellite TV (German and local channels), two bedrooms, hallway with entrance hall, large cellar, panoramic sauna and outdoor seating in front of and behind the cottage.
The place Falkertsee is a typical chalet village with two larger hotels and is romantically and dreamily at the mountain lake Falkert under the 2350m Falkertspitze.
In summer, the Falkertsee invites you to go fishing, swimming and boating. A Kettersteig as well as an extensive and developed network of trails invites you to mountaineering and hiking. An attraction for children is the Heidi Figures Nature Park, the pony and donkey rides and the long mountain ridge slide. The acquisition of Kärtnencard is recommended. Many tourist attractions and facilities in the area can be used free of charge or discounted.
In winter, the Falkertsee is characterized by an individual ski area, 250m from the Almhaus. An excellent ski school, especially for school and preschool children, completes the offer in addition to other sporting activities. In the ski shop with workshop, all equipment can be borrowed, purchased and repaired.
A look at the local webcams is worthwhile in every season.
The arrival by car is not recommended if all-wheel drive in the winter season only with snow chains recommended. Parking is available directly at the house. The access road is regularly cleared during the winter months by the municipality.
The airport Klagenfurt is about 60km away.

Die Hütte lässt wirklich keine Wünsche offen, alles ist vorhanden. Super gemütlich und in idealer Lage zum kleinen Falkert Skigebiet, wo unsere beiden Kleinen (5 und 7) einen Skikurs besucht haben.

Die Almhütte war mit wirklich allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt.
Sie bot uns mit unseren beiden Hunden ausreichend Platz.
Nach spannenden Bergtouren, war das Highlight danach, die schöne Panoramasauna.
Die Lage ist perfekt und man kann direkt in die Nockberge los starten.
Haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und kommen wieder.

Super ausgestattete Almhütte zum Wohlfühlen und Entspannen. Highlight die Sauna mit Panorama-Blick. Netter Kontakt und alles bestens organisiert. Empfehlen wir gerne weiter.
