Let yourself be enchanted by Monschau. They sleep and live in a cloth-making house over three hundred years old in the heart of Monschau. The Rur flows past directly behind our house; With the window open you can hear the water rushing and have a wonderful view over the Rur landscape up to the Red House.
You can walk to shops, restaurants and parking lots.
The apartment has a double bedroom and a comfortable sofa bed (160x200) in the living room. The apartment is modern and has been lovingly and extensively renovated. The tourist information office is located a few houses away and will be happy to inform you about all events and leisure options. We will be happy to provide you with a parking sticker free of charge for the duration of your stay. We are happy to welcome you. The Koch family

Words simply cannot convey the beauty of this wonderful home. From the exposed timber frames, the rustic and creaky wood floors (I LOVE those floors!), to the thoughtfully placed knick knacks and home decor, Uta did an exceptional job of creating a cozy and comfortable place to enjoy a town that feels trapped in time. From the water of the Roer river rushing by just outside the large windows in the open kitchen/living area to the activity in the cobblestone streets below, the sounds just added to the overall ambiance of the perfectly situated home. Yet never did those sounds interrupt the tranquility and need for rest from exploring the town and surrounding area. Anything anyone could possibly need for any length of stay was provided, including every tool necessary for making your favorite coffee drink. And the bed! The bed and pillows were without a doubt the most comfortable either of us have slept on.
Access to the store Mond on the floor below was nice and did not interfere with entry into the unit, which was a slight concern initially since entry to the unit is shared with the store. But the owner did an excellent job explaining how entry worked and what we needed to do when coming and going after store hours. Was absolutely no issue at all. And how anyone could possibly escape the store and not find that one thing they have to have would be shocking.
Overall, my wife and I can’t think of anything that could have made our stay at Uta’s place any better than it was.
