Villa Irida is situated just outside of Pitsidia a short walk of 5 minutes.

Live like a king and queen for a while in this luxurious villa. The house is very spacious, our family is four people strong, but there is room for 8 (three double beds and 2 single beds), very easily. A very large garden with many levels, big enough to have a short stroll. Three different swimming pools, two of which have optional "disco lighting" at night. The kitchen is very well equipped with every pot, pan and equipment you might need if you decide to eat at home for a change. Very large outside outside cooking area with pizza oven and barbecue.
The reception was very well organised, key was already at the house in a safe place. We were pleasantly surprised that the fridge and fruit basket were already stocked for us, which came in hand because we arrived at midnight.
The owner is very friendly and helpful.
We would love to visit again in the future!

Villa irida is a fantastic villa to stay at!! we stayed there in august 2024 for 2 weeks and can honestly say it is the best villa we have ever stayed at it was perfect in every way the hosts were very welcoming and helpful, location and villa perfect stunning views!

We spent a week in winter, over new year, in Pitsidia in this wonderful house. It offers all the conditions to enjoy a dreamlike and relaxing holiday even in the colder months.
A stove with attached central heating ensures comforting temperatures and coziness in the evenings.
Three spacious and beautifully furnished bedrooms with double beds and really good mattresses, as well as two additional single beds in the gallery offer ample space for 6 to 8 people.
The fully equipped open kitchen and the adjoining cozy living room with panoramic views allowed us every evening to conjure a feast and to enjoy this completely relaxed.
In one day we could at 25 degrees! even use the sunbathing areas around the pool for sunbathing.
Breakfast and afternoon coffee were available every day on the sun terrace.
The location of the house is totally quiet and offers a fantastic unobstructed view of the countryside and the Ida Mountains, although it is only a few minutes walk in the center.
What do you wish for more?
Many people know that southern Crete is an ideal destination from spring to autumn.
But not that even the mild winter months offer a very special charm for hikers and nature lovers. After the first rain in October / November, the previously dehydrated landscape will blossom again. The whole island is covered by a green carpet of clover and anemones. We sometimes believed we were in Ireland and not in Crete.
If you have not experienced this, you can hardly imagine it.
But to enjoy the winter in Crete, it needs a really well-equipped and comfortable accommodation.
And this is the Villa Irida absolutely.
Finally, even after much thought, nothing came to mind that we would have missed or disliked.
Therefore 6 out of 5 possible points for this house and its very sympathetic and always helpful owners Sasa and Mike.

Ich war Ende April mit 5 Freundinnen für zwei Wochen in dieser wunderschönen Villa und Platz gab es dort für uns alle mehr als reichlich.
Die Lage ist fantastisch, das Dorf Pitsidia liegt einem sozusagen zu Füßen und im Rücken sind die Berge, deren Gipfel zu dieser Zeit noch schneebedeckt waren.
Man merkt, daß dieses Haus mit sehr viel Liebe und Herzblut von den Eigentümern und Vermietern, Mike und Sasa, gebaut und eingerichtet wurde. Jedes Detail, jedes Möbelstück, wurde sorgfältig ausgewählt. Es fehlt Einem wirklich an Nichts!!!
Der beleuchtete Pool bei Nacht, der weitläufige Garten, die vielen Möglichkeiten dort zu entspannen, sind sehr besonders! Man muss sich dort einfach wohlfühlen!
Der Service (Wäschewechsel, Reinigung...) ist hervorragend und die Vermieter sind jederzeit ansprechbar für Fragen, Wünsche und dergleichen.
Außerdem haben die Vermieter eine Taverne im Ort, in der es täglich viele frisch zubereitete und sehr leckere Gerichte gibt.
Wir schwärmen immer wieder von dieser schönen Zeit, in diesem traumhaften Anwesen.
