Villa Phaedra is a traditional stone house 130sqm in a property of 500sqm with private pool and garden, only 10 minutes drive from center of city and 5 minutes drive from beach Situated in a traditional village Prines- in a walking distance from its center ,can accomodate 8 persons .All rooms have AC
Floor Layout:
Ground floor: Living room with fireplace and sofa bed for 2 persons, dining area, full equipped kitchen ,bedroom with 2 single beds , WC/bathroom with bathtub and washing machine ,terrace to swimming pool and garden
First Floor: 2 double bedrooms(two single beds and one king bed) with access to balcony, WC/bathroom with bathtub,balcony
Outside area:Furnished terrace and balcony with sea and forest-oak view
Garden :Βarbecue, sun beds,outside shower ,children games ,private parking for 2 cars and a 30sq.m private pool
Villa can accommodate 6 persons in 3 bedrooms and may extend for 2 more using a twin sofa bed and has a special, on request baby bed.

Villa is only 200m from the center of village and the traditional village of Prines is 7 kilometres from the vibrant city of Rethymnon and only 2 kilometres from the sea. The village has mini -markets where you can find all the necessary products for basic needs ,3 traditional tavernas and coffees. Also the area lends itself to beautiful excursions and is ideal for those who love nature.You will have also the opportunity to see the traditional style of homes with old arches

The property was well built and everything worked as it should. The poolside garden was well maintained with mature shrubs and trees which meant there was always areas of shade to be found which was very handy with little children. The shutters made it very easy to keep the house cool. The property was in a residential area and was very peaceful at night. We’ve been coming to Crete every year for the last twenty years and the villa was definitely one of the best we’ve stayed in.

Comfortable, clean villa. Had a lovely week here in October 2024. Good location, 10 minutes to Rethymno and walkable to local tavernas. Centrally located for visiting different sites and beaches. Alexandra cooked lunch for arrival which was appreciated.

We had a wonderful time in Aleksandras home. The property is well positioned to explore the island, the pool is great to refresh after a day on the beach or lounge by all day long. The property is thoughtfully decorated and spotlessly clean. Aleksandra was always available for questions both prior to and during our stay. She even made some veggie Cretian food for us to enjoy on arrival. We hope to stay again.
