Beautiful views of Monterey Bay from a private deck and the sound of the surf in the background add to the romance of this cozy condo in Monterey. Perched up high, the views are open and spectacular. Please be aware that there are many stairs throughout this bluff-side property and from the parking area to the unit.
With soaring ceilings in living room and kitchen, it's light and bright.
This hideaway is in an ocean-side complex just steps from Del Monte Beach and is also within walking distance of the Monterey Recreation Trail that leads to Fisherman’s Wharf, making it an ideal location for active folks who are interested in hiking or biking to locations around the bay.
The condominium is located five minutes from downtown Monterey, and the Monterey Bay Aquarium, 10 minutes from the quaint shops of Pacific Grove, Carmel by the Sea and Carmel Valley with wineries and Big Sur are an easy drive within 45 minutes.
The beach is found not only within a 2 minute walk out the door, but also inside the condo, with seaside décor and motifs that's are a nod to the nearby shore as well as Monterey’s long history as a shipping and fishing port. The white painted high vaulted ceilings make this condo feel spacious and there is little or no sound from neighboring units, only the sound of the ocean waves.
The open floor plan allows the outdoor deck, living room and kitchen to flow together. Seating for two on Adirondack chairs on the balcony offers white water views of the ocean making it the perfect place to enjoy the sunset while sipping a glass of wine, or enjoying your morning coffee.
The living room includes a comfortable sand-colored love-seat set off by blue and white pillows. It's an ideal setting for playing board games, reading or conversation. The living room also has a 46-inch HDTV with Blu-Ray DVD player and easy-care Berber carpeting. Enjoy beautiful white water views of the ocean and sunsets from the living area while partaking of an evening meal.
The kitchen has updated appliances, cream-colored cabinetry and a sink with a brushed nickel faucet. Adjacent counter seating for two provides a place to enjoy casual meals or to chat with the chef.
A white fold up bistro table can be pulled out and used inside or outside the condo for eating and card playing. Well-equipped for extended stays!
Bedroom and Bathroom
The cozy bedroom includes a luxurious queen bed with linen headboard.
In the coastal-themed bathroom, guests will find a shower as well as separate vanity area with sink.
A queen Murphy-style bed in the living room is perfect for overnight guests and may be folded away in daytime
This beautiful condominium complex has gated parking with one small (anything larger than a small crossover vehicle may be too large) designated vehicle space that is close by the unit so there is a 1-car maximum for guests staying here. Street parking outside the gate may also be available.
There are two outdoor swimming pools, two hot tubs and a fitness room located in the complex. A community laundry facility is on the property that conveniently accepts cards instead of coins (guests pay per load). There are many stairs throughout the property and from the parking area to the unit, but once inside, the condo is all on one level.
The condo is best suited for a single person or couple with occasional guests or small child.
This home is a monthly rental and we request that all nights of your stay are within the same calendar month. Some exceptions may be possible, with the approval of our team and the homeowner. Extended stays are often possible.

A home away from home! I would recommend both this property and company to anyone looking for an effortless getaway. I had to stay here for a month on a work assignment and both the fully stocked and comfortable home as well as the attentive property management help me feel as if this was my home and not a rental!

Great stay! I was there for over 2 months. Very welcoming! Walked into wine and cheese and very clean! So many little things there like extra blankets, snacks, plenty of cooking supplies. The view... Oh my goodness! You can't beat it! So gorgeous! The grounds are so well maintained and beautiful! So many mornings I sat on the deck drinking my coffee enjoying the sun on my legs & watching birds and seals swim! The garbage disposal needed attention and they were quick to respond. My only "issue" was it's a moist space so you can see some effects on things like carpet and some upholstery. But that's not a poor reflection on anything. That's just the nature of being that close to the ocean. Wonderful stay! I miss hearing the ocean waves everyday. Gorgeous space inside and out. Well equipped apartment and very friendly staff!

My wife and I spent the month of January in this bright, cheerful unit. Although it is small, it was very well outfitted and very comfortable. We really enjoyed the use of the pool, hottub, and fitness center. The view of the surf from the unit was spectacular! The folks at Sanctuary were great to work with, we'd definitely stay here again.

Wonderful location, you could feel the waves crashing at times. Just a couple hours of sun on deck each day(many more on opposite side units). The parking is very tight and very few handicap spaces. The unit was very small and the bed was way to soft. The gates into pool area were in poor shape, worked sometimes, other times not. Other than that, we really liked the place. Will stay again but will make sure of location and firm bed.
