The attention to detail, when we arrived it was really warm and the feeling was nice, making you feel welcome and comfortable

Breakfast hamper was lovely, accommodation was cosy and secluded
The mattress could have been firmer and the shower is ready for some maintenance

1) quiet rural location
2) pretty decor
3) cooking facilities available
4) plenty of blankets, would have been very cosy in cool weather
5) easy access to Bath and Bradford-on-Avon
1) my visit coincided with a heatwave and the interior of the hut became very hot; the windows are very small and there was no effective method of cooling it down, not even a basic fan
2) some noise from the fridge (intermittent rather than constant, so more difficult to tune out)
3) the locking mechanism on the entry gate to the yard punctured one of my tyres
4) no wi-fi in the hut
