About this apartment rental
apartment renovated in spring 2018, in an exceptional building, in the middle of a large 19th century park. This building includes 2 completely independent lodgings, located on the first floor of each wing. The situation is close to Tours (1/4 hour), 10 minutes from the castle of Villandry, on the route "Loire à Vélo", and 3 minutes from the golf Touraine (Ballan-Miré). The apartment is quiet, bright, the kitchen is well equipped. Private parking. Secure local for bicycles.

What a unique place to stay. Spacious clean and modern. Light and airy. Yes the whole hemicycle is looking a bit run down and could do with a bit of TLC but the flat itself was great.
You can get into Tours with plenty of free parking in 15 mins. Villandry is just down the road. Very easy to get around.
A couple of minor moans- agree with previous post that considering price a couple more toilet rolls would have been helpful. I would have loved to have used the coffee machine but we don't have those types at home and I didn't want to buy a whole box for just a couple of nights ☹️ a TV would also be good for the wet days especially with children.
Being able to use the bikes was amazing and the use of washing machine and huge drying space was a great help. All communications were brilliant and it's a lovely quiet space to stay with the bonus of lovely grounds to walk around. Highly recommend.
