A lovely gite in a truly beautiful village, which is walking distance from the property. The location is perfect for exploring the Loire valley. The facilities were excellent and the house was more spacious than we had expected. The pool was great, and we frequently had it to ourselves. The hosts were very kind and welcoming. All in all, it was all we had hoped for and more.

Large gite for a family of four with shared pool on site. Short stroll into the village of Montresor which has a local supermarket, petrol pump, bakery, tabac, bar, tourist office, crepe restaurant and of course the chateau.

The gite had everything we needed and the pool was wonderful. We enjoyed our stay and our hosts were extremely kind.

The gite is in the garden of a large, old and very pretty mill, on the edge of the village. Very convenient for walking into the village in the mornings to buy bread etc.
The gite is rustic and quaint but we didn't appreciate sharing it with mice. Ask before you book, to ensure the extra guests have been removed!
