About this house rental
Very Spacious house with great frontage on small mountain lake in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Great elevation at 3000' and only 2 miles off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Less than an hours drive from Asheville, and 2.5 hours out of Charlotte. 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, with central A/C and Heat.
Walk to Golf course or south toe river for terrific trout fishing. Short walk to hiking trails that lead to nearby Black mountain campground, and Setrock Falls, or continue all the way to mount Mitchell on the "Mountain to the sea" trail, highest peak in the Eastern US. Cold water to dip in as the creek forms one border of property and several acres of woods are adjacent to both sides for kids to play.
If you are here to fish just walk 200 yards to South toe River at the Red bridge you crossed coming in, from there upstream you may fish for trout till your heart content. The pond is for looking at ,to enjoy the views but not for fishing or swimming.
The Clubhouse at Golf course has two restaurants and pub, open every evening during season, reservations sometimes needed

We love the fishing, hiking, relaxing, and shopping in Burnsville. It's a great place to spend time making memories with your family. Plenty of room, a wonderful sunroom, good places to eat in Burnsville, or a fully stocked kitchen if you want to stay in. We had s'mores at the firepit one night--great stay and we'll be back!

Was so much more than we anticipated. Lots of privacy outdoors on the property, we enjoyed the firepit every night laughing and reminiscing about life past, life to come. Homey feel with lots of room inside the VRBO, everything provided to have a relaxing time, meals, cookouts, games, watching tv, Beautiful neighborhood. Nature spilling out around your every turn and the walk to the river where you can sit and enjoy the sounds of the water. Drive a short distance to hike and another to a mom and pops gas station. Our Family Loved the VRBO and highly recommend. We will be back .

Had stayed here previously, so had no surprises with property or location. Would definitely return to this house for future rental property.
