The villa is perfect for large families and has a view of Florence and countryside that is beyond beautiful. The bedrooms are comfortable and large with ample closet space. Bathrooms were very modern with plenty of towels. There is a washing machine and dryer in a separate building which was nice to have.
The grounds are impeccably kept with beautiful flowers and trees. The pool has a large area with a large umbrella for outdoor dining. The villa felt like an aristocratic home with antique furniture and rugs throughout. There is a library of books and maps which were helpful. Check-in and check-out was easy and Mario was expert in giving us information on things to do. He is a good representative for the owner and was very pleasant to work with.
There is bus service in the small town of La Lastra which is within walking distance of the villa. The bus takes you into the city and runs on a regular schedule.
We look forward to staying in Villa Acacia again. It was my "dream house" and I regret we were only able to stay one week.

The main road to the villa was being redone which should be completed soon. The inconvenience was temporary.
