About this cottage rental
We are happy to welcome you to a 19th century farmhouse completely renovated with quality materials and with all modern comforts (110 m2), on the edge of the woods of St Jean du Grais and 15 kms from Tours.
Our cottage has a large garden with the flowery terrace area facing south, suitable for rest in a green setting.
Le Clos des Buis (property of 6000 m2), near the hunting lodge of François 1er and a 12th century priory, is at the crossroads of the main castles of the Loire (Chenonceaux: 18 kms, Amboise, Villandry: 22 kms, Chambord: 70kms).
The municipality of Azay sur Cher (3500 inhabitants) participates in the regional program of the Cher cycling trails, and benefits from all the amenities (bakeries, tobacconist, pharmacy, supermarkets and a store of local products in short circuit also open on Sunday morning).
Layout:
Fitted kitchen: induction hob, oven + microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer, washing machine and dryer, Nespresso coffee machine and filter, toaster, kettle, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, TV, WIFI, CD-DVD player.

N ° 2: 160X200 bed
N ° 3: 1X80 or 1X160 pull-out beds

Our family of 6 really enjoyed our holiday at Valerie and Bruno’s gites. The property was very clean, good WiFi and a great pool.

Us, son daughter in law grandson and sister ages from 10 months to 62. This was the perfect place from which to explore the Loire Valley. Bruno and Valerie are perfect hosts and the gites have everything you could want. Highly recommended

The property was exactly what we wanted. It was a great home base after seeing the local chateaus and towns. We would go out in the morning and come back with the kids to play in the pool, and grill outside and enjoy the property. While out a bit on its own (which was perfect for us to relax), it was still close enough to a good grocery store (5 minutes) and all the main attractions (Amboise 25 minutes), Tours (15 minutes), Chateaus (between 25 and 45 minutes). As everyone has said, Valerie and Bruno were exceptional hosts, even providing fresh eggs from their chickens. It's always a toss up with some of the VRBO properties, but this was as advertised. Thanks for hosting at such a great property!

Nous avons passé une super semaine avec notre fille de 15 ans dans le gite de Valérie et Bruno (beaucoup trop grand pour 3, le gîte peut en accueillir 8 sans soucis). Tout était parfait. La piscine à eau salée, toute récente est très grande, toujours à bonne température et très agréable.
Le gîte est comme neuf, très fonctionnel, et très bien équipé. Valérie et Bruno on pensé à tout , mêlés aux petits détails du quotidien qui manque souvent dans les gîtes : maniques, ciseaux, cure-dents , équipements pour le BBQ et ils s’assurent que vous ne manquez de rien à votre arrivée : sel , poivre, huile d’Olive , café….
La localisation est super pour visitez les châteaux, assez centrale, proche de Chenonceau, Amboise, Villandry et Azay-le-Rideau. À moins d’une heure de Blois et Chambord.
Vélo et Kayak à proximité.
Et les conseils Restos de Valérie et Bruno sont à suivre les yeux fermés : le restaurant La Boulaye à proximité du gîte est fabuleux. Merci aussi pour le Comptoir de Brune (salon de thé), nous y avons passé un agréable moment (et on serait passé à côté sans le tuyau)
