About this villa rental
Conveniently located 3 km (2 mi) from Mutigliano, Italy and only 9 km (6 mi) from Lucca. Il Vignale is a beautiful stone building (217 sq m) with private pool, WiFi internet and air conditioning. The property can accommodate up to six people comfortably in three bedrooms with four bathrooms. If playing a round of golf is important while on vacation, you are in luck because there is a course nearby.
Il Vignale is situated on the hills of Lucca, in a large estate producing local red and white wine, honey and extra virgin olive oil, where we also rent another property called Le Pergole. The pool area in particular is set in a secluded and very panoramic position, where guests can entertain and relax enjoying the most spectacular views on Lucca and its towers , definitely one of the most beautiful views available on the plain of Lucca. The garden is fully fenced thus granting complete privacy. An appealing pergola creates the perfect shelter where to gather together for 'al fresco' meals or just relaxing admiring the views.
Starting from the 2020 season, the villa will feature a fenced swimming-pool.
The Experience
After arriving you’ll find a lovely clean well-maintained property with views of the hills ideal for a peaceful vacation in Tuscany. Regardless of how you spend your days - sightseeing, shopping, visiting museums or just driving in the countryside, when you arrive home you can relax with your family and friends at the pool for a perfect ending to another day in Tuscany. If you enjoy cooking for family and friends there is a well-equipped kitchen including coffee machine, microwave, toaster, stove and refrigerator, as well as, plenty of tableware and cutlery for up to six people. If you prefer to dine 'al fresco', there is a fully furnished veranda where you can enjoy the weather while dining outdoors.

The house was mainly lovely. The weather was not, so maybe it affected our feelings. The house definitely requires the use of a car (or a bike) to get anywhere. The less lovely aspects of the house were a) ground floor living room - lights were minimal; TV was in Scandinavian (?) mode and we couldn't understand how to change it (and the management staff didn't assist) ; the kitchen is not sufficient for a large group (our own group was smaller so it didn't affect us too much) - but if you are planning to eat at the villa in the evenings, that could be a challenge. The house has great views, a lovely swimming pool and we really enjoyed our stay

The house is perfect! It is probably the best equipped villa we have ever stayed in , it is clean, comfortable and in an excellent location. Views from the pool over countryside to Lucca are amazing. The WiFi was reliable. A wonderful week, thank you.

Lucia was most welcoming and helpful, and the villa was like a home from home. Everything you could possibly wish for had been thoughtfully put in the house.
