About this villa rental
Montefiore is located 3 km (2 mi) from Vicopelago, Italy and only 6 km (4 mi) from Lucca. Montefiore is a lovely stone building (250 sq m) with WiFi internet, air conditioning and private pool. The property can sleep up to ten guests comfortably in six bedrooms with four bathrooms. If playing a round of golf is important while on vacation, you are in luck because there is a course nearby.
Your Experience
A particular feature of this villa is the totally fenced pool area, protected by a gate that can be closed for kids safety with a comfortable gazebo with sofa and chairs. The pool is equipped with upstream swim.
Original pizza oven and barbecue available outside the main entrance.
After arriving you will be greeted by the owner or manager where you’ll find a beautiful clean well-maintained property with views of the hills ideal for a splendid holiday in Tuscany. Regardless of how you spend your days - shopping, sightseeing, visiting museums or just driving in the countryside, when you arrive home you can relax with your family and friends at the pool for a perfect ending to another day in Tuscany. If you enjoy cooking for family and friends there is a well-equipped kitchen including coffee machine, microwave, toaster and refrigerator, as well as, plenty of tableware and cutlery for up to ten people. If you prefer to dine 'al fresco', there is a fully furnished veranda where you can enjoy the weather while dining outdoors.

The last few miles of the road leading to the property are quite curvy and pass through beautiful high antique stonewalls. Being the road quite narrow on some points, we recommend to those not familiar with this kind of country roads not to hire large vans.

Really great place, serviceminded and friendly owner. Fantastic house, great garden and wonderful pool. Only thing to concern about was the very narrow road the last 300 m.

Just spent a fabulous 2 weeks with our family (8 adults, 2 children & an infant) at this lovely villa. Everything about it was great - just as described - large bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms, well equipped kitchen despite being a little small, and a beautifully clean swimming pool. Wish we could have spent longer there - would definitely recommend!

We've just spent a fabulous two weeks at this beautiful villa. We were a family party of 8 adults, 2 children and an infant and there was plenty of room for us all in this spacious accommodation. It was very well equipped with everything you could wish for - from culinary utensils & crockery to bathroom accessories and towels. Stefano came to clean the pool twice a week, the bedrooms & bathrooms were cleaned once a week and our deposit was reimbursed without any problems. The only slight downside was it is a very narrow approach road just before you reach the villa, so a very large vehicle is definitely not advisable. The pizza oven was used very successfully, although it was very hot! The lovely clean pool is an absolute delight in the hot 'weather of August, our 7 year old grandson was quite happy to swim in it all day! Just a shame there wasn't a village nearby although its not far into Lucca itself. Would definitely recommend this villa - wish we were still there!
