Beautiful manor house with lush green lawn. Exceptional breakfast served by gracious and knowledgeable host Aidan.
No walkable dinner option although short drive into town.

We loved the charm of this historic property and the opportunity to spend time in the many well appointed spaces within, including the library and reception room. We slept especially well here and felt an overall sense of peace and repose - our room was spacious and comfortable. The views from the property were lovely. Our hosts were delightful and provided an insider’s view of the area and great historic and cultural insight about the region and what to see and visit. Breakfast was terrific each day - we tried all the different menu items during our stay - delicious!! This was a great location for touring Galway, Kylemore Abbey, and many local ruins and historic sites. We also got to hear local Irish musicians because our hosts told us where to go. Marvelous!!

Breakfast, the views, the staff, and the entire experience was incredible. I loved the common areas like the library and little sun room. The choice of decor makes me feel like I've traveled back in time or in a movie. It was really cool to be able to walk around the place and learn about it's history. There was more than enough space, the bathroom was extremely nice, and the outlets were in convenient places. We really appreciated the little fridge.
Booking.com did this beautiful property no justice. We had no idea it would be this cool.

Nice location near Galway. The House itself is nice
While the house itself is lovely, the apartment we stayed in had no character, felt tired, & the bathroom was spacious but not great. Breakfast was so-so. We would not book again.
