Logis du Parvis ***Face Cathédrale/in front of the Cathedral***

Excellent location for visiting the cathedral (that you can see from the A26 and was our inspiration for overnighting in Laon); exceptionally friendly and helpful staff; very comfortable room; first-class restaurant. Enjoyed our visit very much and, if visiting Laon again while travelling further into France (as on this occasion) Logis du Parvis would be our first choice.

Car parking is a few minutes' walk from the hotel itself. It is secure, however, and hotel staff were very helpful about finding it. Location is so central at the top of the hill in the old part of Laon that it's understandable. I'd recommend phoning ahead, shortly before arriving, so the hotel's staff can expect you and (as on our visit) help with unloading overnight bags before parking. English spoken, that helped us!

Breakfast was good. Location was excellent. Room was excellent. It was spacious, comfortable bed and room was well lit.

We faced the gorgeous Cathedral Notre Dame in Laon. Easy walking to many museums and sites. Amazing history to this area.

Due to extreme hot weather 38’c no fan or a/c available. Windows were restricted due to fittings of the blinds of which one was missing . We requested a fan but was informed none available. Breakfast was basic and pre laid out on the table where flies were able to get onto the food. (Bread and two mini Croissants)
