Stunning old house with so much character! Beautifully decorated whilst in keeping with the old style.
We stayed in the family room which for a couple is huge and it absolutely accommodates a family of 4 as the children's room is attached to the master bedroom.
Great central location in the citadel at 10-15min walk to the Laon cathedral.
Fantastic breakfast with fresh baguette, freshly pressed orange juice and croissants.

However, to make it even more stunning, it would be great to have access to the rear garden/patio and have breakfast there when possible.

The place was a fabulous quirky mediaeval house with original starcase and features, very tastefully modernised. Pierre could not have been more engaging and helpful with check-in, breakfast and check-out.
Given the constraints imposed by the house being mediaeval, nothing could have been better.

If you visit Laon for historical interest a stay here will just top it off. The rooms are beautiful quirky and comfortable.
The host Pierre was very warm and welcoming. The Breakfast was very good with lots of choices.
The location is perfect for a walk to the Cathedral along a cobblestone road with plenty shops and eateries. 10/10 from us!
