Looking for affordable accommodation in the room Saalfeld-Rudolstadt-Pößneck, at the foot of the Thuringian Forest, in close proximity to Germany's largest reservoirs and the "Stone Chronicle" Thuringia?

We look forward to be able to make your stay in a pleasant atmosphere and an appealing ambience.
It awaits you upstairs in the cultivation of our house on 50 square meters, a well-equipped apartment, with living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom with shower and bath, and a spacious roof terrace, for up to 6 people and extra bed for at least a little child.
The spacious property on which the house was rebuilt in 2010/11, offers 2000 sqm adequate exercise area, which also like may be used by our guests by arrangement, as is our adventure playground for children.
Just steps away from the property there is a bus stop, which is frequented by the close proximity to the city of Saalfeld, also very good by public transport. The lower shaft Borner train station is within 10 minutes within easy walking distance.
Trips to the "Thuringian Sea" (Hohenwarte reservoir) or in the direction of Gera / Pößneck can be started directly from here, for all other directions it is within 10 minutes in Saalfeld, where it has immediate Umstiegs- and connectivity to all the really worthwhile Attractions to reach our beautiful region.

Sehr liebevoll eingerichtete Ferienwohnung, mit einer kompletten Küchenausstattung für kleine und große Gäste. Spielzeug für die Kinder war ebenfalls in der Ferienwohnung reichlich vorhanden. Ein tolles Holzklettergerüst in Bootsmanier inkl. Außenspielzeug durfte mit benutzt werden.
Zentrale Lage für Unterwellenborn (Bäcker, Metzger, Kaufland fußläufig vorhanden). Ausgezeichnete örtliche Anbindung für Besuchsziele von fern und nah. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder;-)

Die Wohnung ist geräumig, modern eingerichtet und mit allem, was man benötigt, ausgestattet. Sie hat eine geräumige Dachterrasse, von der man einen Blick auf eine zum großen Teil grüne und unverbaute nähere Umgebung hat. Die Lage ist, bis auf die üblichen Verkehrsgeräusche einer innerörtlichen Verbindungsstraße, ruhig. Die Anlagen der in Unterwellenborn angesiedelten Stahlindustrie in ihrer heutigen modernen Form stören den Eindruck, dass man sich in einem Urlaubsort befindet, in keiner Weise. Weder durch irgendwelche Abgase noch durch ständige Geräuschentwicklung.
Einkaufsmöglichkeit besteht in einem großen, auch fußläufig erreichbaren Verbrauchermarkt in nur wenigen hundert Metern Entfernung. Das gastronomische Angebot direkt vor Ort ist allerdings begrenzt.
Unterwellenborn war für uns, die Thüringen in seiner Vielfalt kennenlernen wollten, als zentraler Ausgangspunkt sehr geeignet. Von dort erreicht man die verschiedensten Ziele (wie z.B. Kultur in Weimar oder aber Natur, Landschaft und Technik im Gebiet der Saalestauseen) in einer für Tagestouren akzeptablen Entfernung von vielleicht mal einer Stunde Autofahrt.
Für uns war der Aufenthalt in dieser Ferienwohnung in Unterwellenborn ein gelungener Urlaub. Wir können die Ferienwohnung nur uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Eine schöne ruhige Lage und nicht weit vom Stausse Hohenwarte und der Stadt Saalfeld entfernt.
Der Garten des Hauses bot viele Spielmöglichkeiten für Kinder mit Trampolin, Rutsche mit Klettergerüst uvm.
Sehr nette Familie, die die Wohnung vermietet
