Vacation Apartment "Ferien am Bergpark":
Close to nature, quiet & central in the documenta city of Kassel, Bad Wilhelmshöhe, accessible, cozy, family and allergy friendly.
Our apartment is close to nature, quiet and central on the outskirts of Kassel - Bad Wilhelmshöhe at the foot of the mountain park.
The beautiful, newly built apartment with 53 m² of living space is on the ground floor and has a separate, ground-level (threshold-free) entrance.
The apartment has the following rooms:
• Living / cooking
• 2 Bedrooms
• Shower room with walk-in shower
• Storage room with washing machine
• Hall
It was completed in January 2017 and is located in a low-energy house. Therefore, the apartment has a ventilation system and underfloor heating.
It offers a relaxed feel-good atmosphere.
The apartment is wheelchair accessible or accessible and suitable for allergy sufferers.
As a family, we are child-friendly. Diagonally across from the apartment, across the street,
there is a small, well-kept children's playground.
The location is central. Close to the Wilhelmshöhe ICE train station, we have good tram and bus connections.
We can be reached on foot from the train station or you can take a tram (line 1) and exit at "Kunoldstraße".
A parking space is available.

We lived in this apartment for over a week and it was a favorite of the 3 we rented during our month-long stay in Deutschland. There were plenty of utensils for cooking, as well as space to eat at a full table with dishes and baskets to make a nice sit-down meal. The main bed was comfortable (did not try the bunk beds) and we were able to wash our clothes easily. Loved the full-apartment venting system for fresh air, especially since the ground floor apartment faces a street that had ongoing construction and was a bit noisy from that and occasional people wandering and talking into the night, which made keeping windows open not an easy task. Plenty of light and a wonderful bathroom and shower with plenty of storage and a window -- really nice! Nice foyer where you can stash coats and shoes.
Owner lives in main building and was always friendly and available for questions or concerns. It was a bit cool in October but there was a table and chairs on a patio directly outside the living area, protected by a neatly clipped hedge, very lovely and inviting. We felt so at home we could have lived there for longer. Proximity to the park and walking downtown was exactly what we had hoped for. Also a well-regarded restaurant in walking distance. Many thanks to the owner for making such a lovely home for guests.

Die Ferienwohnung ist super! Stille Lage, liebevoll eingerichtet, sehr sauber. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Dankeschön für alles.

Die in Parknähe gelegene, ruhige Wohnung mit schöner Terrasse ist hell und freundlich, liebevoll eingerichtet, sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet.
Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern klappte bestens.
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Wir sind vollkommen begeistert. Die Unterkunft hat unseren Erwartungen nicht nur entsprochen , sondern übertroffen. Alles ist sauber und alle wichtigen Dinge sind vorhanden. Nach dem anstrengenden Besuch der Documenta kamen wir in eine ruhige Ferienwohnung.
