About this house rental
If you love the sea but don't like the confusion of the classic tourist attractions, which are always too crowded, this apartment in a semi-detached house, surrounded by greenery but only 2 km from the sea, is your destination. The accommodation is in a strategic position for visiting the region: Chioggia (7 km), from where you can reach Venice by boat and the other beautiful cities of art (Padua, Vicenza, Treviso, Ferrara, Ravenna). In the evening, after your interesting excursions, you can spend a quiet evening, dine in the garden and enjoy the starry sky with the sea breeze. The accommodation is spread over two floors, which are connected by a staircase. The garden, surrounded by bushes and flowers, invites you to relax and sunbathe. A football pitch, volleyball net, table tennis and table football are available. Cycle routes start from the house in a lagoon landscape between freshwater canals and brackish water; from Sottomarina you can cycle and walk around the Lusenzo lagoon. From Chioggia, you can reach Piazza Vigo and take the vaporetto to the island of Pellestrina. You can alternate sun and sea with excursions to discover the immense historical and artistic heritage of the region: Venice and the islands of the lagoon can also be visited by boat from the nearby and beautiful Chioggia (7 km). Padua (40 km) with the Basilica del Santo and the UNESCO World Heritage botanical garden; Vicenza (80 km), with its Palladian architecture; Treviso (70 km) with its canals and frescoed buildings; Ferrara (80 km) beautiful Renaissance city, Ravenna (90 km) with Byzantine mosaics and a series of medieval towns: Comacchio, Pomposa Abbey, Monselice, Este. There are over 4000 historic villas in Veneto, built between 1400 and 1700, which are true jewels of art and history. Many of them have beautiful gardens where you can spend a whole day. This accommodation is an excellent solution not only for the summer, thanks to the beaches, the excursions in the lagoon or a boat trip along the Po Delta, but also in other seasons to explore the art-rich surroundings.
