Beautiful old Mill with lots of interesting history. It is lovely inside. Lots of nice areas for sitting. Bar and restaurant looked lovely. Didn’t use this time but will definitely next visit.
Wasn’t so keen on area.
Didn’t like the walk back from town as very busy roads.

We were going to a wedding in Dundee the next day so the hotel was in a good location only 5 mins from the church. Whilst the hotel car park was full it was still easy to get parked at the council car park just a few mins walk from the hotel.
On arrival we had to stand and wait about 10 mins to check in as the receptionist was on the phone and there were no other staff about. The next morning (Sat) we went down for breakfast around 9:15 and the hot food Buffet was rather sparse. There were no eggs, hash browns etc left even though breakfast was meant to be served until 10:30. The next morning we ordered food from the menu but service was very slow despite the restaurant being very quiet. The food was good when it finally arrived. We returned from our day out on the Sat evening to discover that housekeeping had not made our bed or left us any fresh towels. They only emptied the bins and left us more toilet roll. We found the bedroom very dark and both bedroom and bathroom were poorly lit. Our room was freezing and it took a while for it to heat up after we figured out how to use the heating thermostat.
