About this villa rental
Located in the North-West countryside of Lucca, between the town and the Versilian coast, The villa is a welcoming and secluded property, rich in colors, harmony and comforts. We are conveniently located close to the famous beach resorts of Versilia and the magic town of Lucca. Since it is less than 12 km from the motorway exit, it is an ideal base for visiting the main Tuscan towns. Guests who rented our villa in the past have particularly appreciated the beauty and quiet of the estate. The Villa has been built with modern materials and furnished, and is especially bright and full of light. Its structure makes it ideal for two families ( two separte kitchens ) who wish to take a holiday together, while maintaining their own privacy.Modern facilities, including a TVsat and WIFI connection,hydromassage have also been provided. Shops and restaurants are located at only 500 metres from the villa. .In front of the house there is a lovely large covered patio furnished as an outside sitting area, with table and chairs, which is ideal for eating outside. The big pool (12 metres x 6 h.1.2 /2.5) is just in front of the terrace, in a level garden that is well suited for young families. Nice outdoor garden area for children: two nice swings and a sandypit.The area around the villa is ideal for people who love cycling

Alessandro was a wonderful host and very accommodating. The villa was a little difficult to find but he helped us navigate. The property is beautiful and clean and has amazing views that elicit joy. The only recommendation I would have is to have tea, water and coffee available for guests which is what we experienced at other properties we stayed at on our travels. The rooms were spacious and offered privacy and common areas were perfect for gathering.

It was a very nice property, a lot of space and facilities in a very nice environment. Surrounded by hills but not far to the sea to enjoy some day trips at the boulevard.The swimming pool is amazing for kids to have fun!!Thank you Alessandro for your nice property and easy check-in and check-out.

What a lovely place to holiday! San Martino in Freddana was magical and Lucca was just 10 minutes away and amazing. The villa was very impressive on first appearance, we then found a few things that weren’t good. The microwave didn’t work, the iron was broken, many lightbulbs were not working and the kitchen utensils were basic. As a party of 7 we managed but if the villa was full to capacity, there wouldn’t have been enough glasses etc. The basement was very dark and incredibly damp while we were there, it was raining though. One of my children’s mattresses was covered in mould which was a big put off as she is asthmatic and suffered because of it. We had paid a service charge for a cleaner but week 1 only beds and towels were changed, week 2 the bathrooms were cleaned too but at no point was the floor swept or mopped. The swimming pool was absolutely gorgeous but the plastic grid round the outside was obviously brittle and my husband fell through it, badly injuring his foot. That said, the caretakers did offer to get us medical assistance if we needed it. The outdoor slabs were extremely slippery and all but one of us slipped over on them resulting in various minor injuries. All in all, the location was amazing, the villa was very nice but not quite as luxury as led to believe. Joanna was extremely helpful all of the time. Nice holiday had by all.
