The house is in the district of San Giovanni, secure and very popular area, particularly along the main street of Via Appia Nuova. Surroundings provided by shops, supermarkets, bars, pharmacies, restaurants, newsstands, pubs.
Suitable for up to 8 persons, the house in structured in the following way :
- 1 red room with queen bed + private bathroom
- 1 blu room with king bed next to main bathroom
- 2 adjacent green rooms with two single beds each
Privacy is guaranteed as the flat is structured in three independent areas with a common living room and kitchen.
Any combinations of couples and children in the rooms can be arranged.
Guests can have access to all the rooms, as the apartment is entirely rented.

Enzo was a perfect host. He helped us arrange train transportation to the neighborhood and went so far as to meet us at the train station and walk us to the apartment. The Colloseum and San Giovanni Basilica were close enough we took evening walks to the mist days. The apartment is more spacious than it appears in the photos. The beds are comfortable and the apartment is well equipped. There are cafes, pizza and a market within a block of the apartment gates.Trains, busses and the metro are all close in proximity making this apartment a perfect home base for a Roman adventure.

Enzo is probably the best host I have had to deal with. He was very responsive and was willing to help any way he could. He gave us the ins and out of the area and explained a lot of things we were not aware of. He also set up transportation from and to the airport. Metro is a 10 minute walk and the bus is a 3 minute walk. I would recommend this place to anyone. We were a group of 7. 5 adults and 2 children and we had plenty of space. Enzo’s place also had good A/C and a grocery market that was 2 minutes away.

We had a great time in Enzo‘s apartment, which is perfect for a larger family, close to metro, bus and supermarket. The communication with Enzo was excellent and he provided helpful informations.

My family and our friends family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Smart Travellers House while in Rome. The owner, Enzo, went far beyond expectations to ensure our stay was comfortable. He met us at the train station and helped orient us to the neighborhood including places to eat, transit stops, and grocery stores. Throughout our stay he answered all our questions very promptly. He even arranged our transportation to the airport at the end of our visit. His English was fluent, which was very important to us since we unfortunately do not speak any Italian. The apartment had excellent air conditioning, which kept us all comfortable during the incredible heat wave that hit Rome during our visit. Even though one of the bedrooms doesnt have an air conditioner unit directly in the room, the cool air from the adjoining room was more than sufficient to keep the room cool. The room layout made sleeping arrangements easy to work out for our large group and flexibly accommodated everyones needs for privacy. The onsite washing machine was a tremendous convenience. The kitchen and common room were modest in size but very functional. The location of the apartment was far enough away from the tourist areas that it was very quiet at night in the neighborhood, but there were still plenty of reasonably priced restaurants with excellent food nearby.Overall, this was one of our best experiences with a Home Away rental, largely thanks to the property owner, Enzo, who worked very hard to ensure our comfort!
