About this cottage rental
Your Summer holiday rental in a tranquil country and romantic place, where you can watch birds, deers and wild boars. The cottage, completely independent and self-catering, has been recently rebuilt with energy saving criteria. We are located one hour driving from city of art: Siena, Florence, San Gimignano, Volterra, Monteriggioni, San Galgano, the Etruscan Sites of Populonia and the Tyrrhenian seaside. An ideal location to recharge ones energy away from the strain of daily life. Unforgettable walks with romantic view can be arranged in the Natural State Reserve of Cornocchia, just a few minutes walk from the house.

We had an amazing stay! Our hosts, Maria and Mario are wonderful, genuine people. They were full of tips and suggestions, booked restaurants for us and even took us to a Dr when needed, but never intruded on our privacy.
The house is a delight. It much exceeded our expectations. The photos can't do it justice. The view of the unspoilt countryside is stunning. We watched deer almost daily feeding in the grassy meadows below at dawn or dusk, and the fire flies flitting around in the dark countryside at night! We even saw a fox on our walk along the track from the house through the forest and meadows down to the river.
The new terrace surrounding the house is very tasteful, with tables, chairs and loungers on just about every side of the house.
We loved the fact that it is off the busy tourist trail, and that the nearby hilltop villages of Belforte and Radicondoli are so unspoilt and picturesque.
Yet Sienna and the coast are also easily accessible within an hour not to mention many other wonderful little Tuscan towns.
The only downside is the bumpy road leading to the house, but it is bearable when taken slowly.
In summary we highly recommend it!

All was very nice, especially the hosts - answered our questions and helped out with the dining (can be hard in the countryside!)
House is very clean and extremely quiet, as it neighbors just the owners house and one more. Other than that just beautiful hills of Tuscany, almost exclusively for you

Lieve ontvangst door de eigenaars met lekker flesje wijn en zoetigheid van de streek. Al het nodige om lekker te kunnen koken is aanwezig, het bed is heel comfortabel, overal aan ramen en deuren vliegenramen zodat muggen buiten blijven… leuk terrasje om buiten te eten.

The small cottage is located in the middle of the beautiful toscany landscape - ideal for everybody who wants to relax far away from big cities with lots of traffic. We were lucky to even see a deer in the late evening. The house is a feel-good one - clean, comfortable, fully equipment with all kitchen ware and you also have a washing mashine to do the laundry and a dishwasher. There was enough space for the four of us. A good restaurant (pizzeria) is nearby in Radicondoli.
A car is a must, if you want to visit the famous cities of Toscany as Florence or Siena. But you should keep in mind that because of the many small roads and turns it takes always longer to get to a destination as you might expect from the distance.
Last but not least Maria and Mario, the owners - a lovely couple, both english speaking and very helpful - made our stay unforgettable.
