Podere La Fonte is situated in a most spectacular position just below the ancient castellated village of Radicondoli. It has magnificent uninterrupted views over the Cecina valley and the surrounding hills.
At night you can see the lights of Volterra, San Gimignano, Colle Val D'Elsa and many other villages nestling in the hills all around you. Florence is one hour away and Siena, Volterra and San Gimignano just forty minutes by road. Lovely local walks and natural pools in the nearby river Cecina. There are swimming pools within easy reach and in an hour you can drive to and enjoy sandy beaches just like the ancient Etruscan people did.
Your hosts Emanuela and Marco look forward to welcoming you to their home. They will also give you every assistance to help you discover and understand the opportunities offered by the surrounding countryside and tourist attractions. Whether you choose to stay put, or explore the surrounding countryside and famous sites, Podere La Fonte has the answer for you. You can choose to rent as little as one of the tree double rooms (with no cooking facilities), one of the two self catering apartments or all the accommodation on offer for a larger group .
Il Susino" is the ideal accommodation for two…. but can also be rented jointly with IL NOCE (see details) for larger groups who like to holiday together and yet enjoy an element of independence.

Nach vielen Jahren waren wir wieder mal bei Emanuela und Marco im Podere La Fonte. Wie immer waren sie sehr gute Gastgeber!
Einiges hat sich verändert im Laufe der Zeit. Aber die Wohnung (Susino) war immer noch top: sehr gemütlich, gut eingerichtet mit allem notwendigen und die Aussensitzplätze zum Geniessen. Die Lage nahe beim Dorf ist toll, die Restaurants im Dorf gut und die Aussicht auf die Landschaft traumhaft!

Très bon accueil de Marco et Emanuela. Logement propre et confortable de plein pied et au calme. Linge de maison fourni.
Nous avons apprécié les légumes du jardin et l'accueil avec une bouteille de vin de la production du domaine.
Le village est a 7 mn a pied et il y a 2 épiceries et 4 restaurants dont un qui fait de très bonnes pizzas.
Beaucoup de visites à faire aux alentours (Sienne, San Gimigiano, Voltera, région du chianti...)
