Located in a beautiful hilly position, Il Giardino di Diana is a genuine stone and brick farmhouse surrounded by the characteristic Tuscan hills with olive groves and vineyards. Both the pool and the attic, boast spectacular panoramic views of the countryside with Cortona's hill in the distance.
The pleasant smell of herbs scents the air by the nicely appointed outside areas that are fully-equipped to offer the maximum comfort to the guests. The large wrought-iron gazebo is perfect to enjoy al-fresco dining both during day and night thank to evoking enlightenment of the gardens and the house that creates a fascinating atmosphere.
Interiors are spacious, bright and cosy; the classical features of country architecture: brick vaults, in-sight beams, recesses and terracotta floors melt with the pieces of furniture, making every space comfortable and welcoming. Villa Il Giardino di Diana is composed by two twin apartments, each of them with living room, large fully-equipped kitchen, 3 large double bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms.
A wooden staircase links the apartment on the 2nd floor to the attic where there is a lounge room with enchanting view, ideal to relax or to read a book.
Additional beds can be added upon requests: one single bed can be added in the biggest bedroom on the ground floor (the one characterized by ceiling arches) and there is a double sofa bed on the top floor that can be unfolded if needed.

We had a great week in this beautiful accommodation. Nothing was missing, the hosts were super nice. The vegetable garden was great and was free to use and the children wanted for nothing. We would recommend this accommodation at any time.

We had a fantastic stay. From booking to the last day of the vacation we felt welcome in this beautiful home. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed and a small welcome package was waiting for us. And then that house... We felt like royalty. The house is fully equipped. The elderly could enjoy reading a book, while the children had fun with the table tennis or in the pool. Even cooking in the large kitchen was easy because of all the utensils that were there.
And all in the setting of the beautiful Tuscan hills. Every day we woke up to a view that was magnificent.
Highly recommended for everyone.

We are 3 families with teenage kids, 12 persons in total, that over the last 10 years or so have spent our vacations together in various summer houses. This house however, outclass every house we've ever spent our vacations at.
Less than 10 minutes away from the nearest town, that has all the shops and amenities we needed, this is an extremely well-kept house, more than enough space for 12 people, with the most beautiful garden. It even has a yard for vegetables, so you can have fresh produce every day if you want. The pool is spacious, with more than enough sunbeds and chairs for all 12 of us. There's a gazebo with a seated area if you want to keep in the shade and have an espresso, and on the other side of the house, a table with seats perfectly suited for brunch or dinner.
You can of course barbeque, and there are games. A big garden. And the surroundings!! Peace and quiet, out in the countryside, with views of the area miles wide. Bikes for you to lend to get around if you're tired of walking.
Inside, the real gem - the greatest A/C setup, one in each bedroom and even in the common areas. Temperatures up to 39 degrees outside, not a problem. Nice and chilly inside, meaning a good nights sleep if you're like us and struggle to sleep if it's too hot. Wi-fi good enough for our needs, no downtime. Two kitchens, one on each floor- nothing missing. Dishwasher, of course. Washing machines on both floors. 4 bathrooms in total!! We really did not miss a single thing at this house - it was all there, it was beautiful and gave us the best vacation we've had in years!
Our host was fantastic, always quick to cater for any needs or providing answers to our questions. She even brought us cake and fresh fruit. She made us all feel very comfortable and at home, and does a great job maintaining the house and the beautiful garden - making this a perfect place to spend quality time with friends, family and loved ones. We cannot praise this place enough, and if we can we will certainly come back :-)

We were a group of 11, including 5 little kids. Beautiful home, well maintained and clean, nice pool and wonderful spacious completely fenced backyard. Perfect location for a large group of friends/family with little kids. The pool is separated by an additional fence so that you don’t have to worry about the kids’ safety. Great vacation!
