The district
On Quai Quelen (named after the wife of Charles Hérisson de Beauvoir), built between 1838 and 1882 this 450m quay which received the trade of Wood and Sand, saw the arrival of Three masts, vapors and bricks . Systematic de-silting ended between the wars.
Like all the city of Faou, the district is very calm at night and however alive during the day, you will live at the rhythm of the tides with direct view on the "Ria" and the church, seeing without being seen, enjoying the privacy of the south, private and closed garden. In the immediate vicinity (radius of 200m) two grocery stores, a pharmacy, hairdressers, restaurants, newsagent.
transport network
The bus stop to Brest, Quimper, Crozon is 300m away. Very ample parking in front of the house. The GR34 passes in front of the house, and the RN165 expressway is 2 minutes
Other remarks
The renovation work ended in June 2018 ensures a clean and tidy house for the season.

Le Faou is a lovely little town with excellent food stores and restaurants, all a few steps from this lovely house. The house is quiet and private, with a pleasant garden. It has been wonderfully restored and has comfortable beds and couches and a very complete kitchen. You will really find everything you can possibly need. Highly recommended!

Very comfortable, well equipped house in an attractive location which had the all important patisserie for breakfast provisions and sufficient restaurants to enable you to take a stroll for supper which is always a bonus
