Nestled into the verdant hillside and backed by the substantial Lustica peninsula, 3 bedroom Villa Garbo peers out seductively over the sleepy village to the sparkling waters of Kotor Bay.
Recently renovated stone house with a private pool, set amongst pomegranate and olive trees offers the perfect place to relax and enjoy the warm temperatures that Montenegro has to offer. Great care has been taken to create a stunning living space that fits into the outstanding surroundings. These buildings are Montenegrin traditional architecture at its best with thick stone walls and shuttered windows helping to keep the inside cool in the day time. The natural beauty of the bay area can be appreciated from the terrace – Restful days can be spent on the balconies, sitting by your own private pool with spectacular views of Kotor Bay
When it comes to rest and relaxation in a tranquil rural setting, Villa Garbo is the perfect option. Stroll through tiny villages which time forgot, where the main source of income continues to be olive groves and goats. You’ll find friendly locals who continue to welcome visitors with homemade prsut (cured and smoked ham) and rakija (a stiff Balkan brandy made from plums). The surroundings might be rural, but the area is also rich in cultural heritage. Kotor Old Town is within easy reach, with its narrow alleyways and squares filled with excellent restaurants outdoor cafes.
The rural surroundings also make for tremendous walks and some of Montenegro's best beaches are only a short drive.
This three-bedroom villa is traditionally-styled and comfortably furnished throughout its two levels.
The property is entered on the first floor where the large, open-plan lounge-diner is an attractive place to relax with large sofas. A well-equipped kitchen – perfect for those family meals. There is one bathroom on each floor.

For a family of four, there was lots of space inside and out. The gardens and pool area were very pretty and the views to Tivat and the hills around were stunning. I would say you need to be a fairly confident driver to get up to it but we quickly got used to that! Lovely area, lots to do. We had one minor issue but when we contacted the owner it was sorted very quickly. Lovely quiet area.

Beautifully restored villa in an old interesting village in the hills above Tivat. The pool and outdoor space were perfect for our family of five, and indoor the property really spacious. We got used the drive up and down the narrow road eventually, and it was so worth it for the views from the terrace.

Comfortable house with everything we needed both in- and outside.The garden and pool area gave us many possibilities to relax and enjoy.However, the way up to the house was narrow for a wagon (8 pers.)

An absolutely beautiful restored historic home with an incredible pool deck and incredible views. Owners were very accommodating. Not for the mobility impaired or small children. The view from outside the house is stunning overlooking Tivat and the bay. Tivat was a great, less touristy base for exploring the whole area and had lots of stores and restaurants to choose from.
